Well hello to the goddesses of dance that these women truly are! Prepare to be amazed by these expectant mama’s who could dance circles around me any day! These women are deserving of some serious applause! It’s both amazing and a little baffling how these women are able to bust a move with a human growing inside of them!

I remember being fairly immobile by about 7 months along, but here are some full-term mamas moving better than I even thought possible! Watch as some expectant mom’s hip hop their way into internet fame, tip toe gracefully and even belly dance! I mean wow!

These ladies may just be doing their happy dance, or trying to getting some exercise, or may even be seasoned professionals busting a move, but they all have one thing in common, expectant mamas dancing are often met with much scrutiny. Some comments go as far to say that these women are endangering their unborn babies, but there’s no actual evidence to back up such a claim.

It seems to be that during pregnancy women are met with judgment anytime they challenge how pregnancy is perceived. Take Beyoncé’s performance at the Grammy’s for instance, about 50% of people watching were offended and the other 50% loved it. I think anytime we can celebrate our bellies, it’s important to do so, after all, childbirth is a celebration of life, so why not dance?

I also learned a little something new, moms-to-be can induce labor by dancing, and it has actually worked for quite a few moms. For what it’s worth for any overdue and uncomfortable mom-to-be, it couldn’t hurt to try a little dancing; she can always 'Blame it on the Boogie.' Speaking of boogie, let’s get to the stars of today’s article, 15 dancing moms that are sure to impress!

2 Ciara For The Win

Okay, Ciara is officially my favourite person in the world right now. This adorable Instagram video she posted just a few weeks ago is absolutely awesome! Watch as she lip syncs Whitney Houston’s 'I’m Every Woman' while busting a move, all while being super pregnant!

We all know Ciara can dance; she’s an absolute powerhouse on the dance floor, but who knew she could still make it look so easy while pregnant! I literally dropped my jaw when she was able to hop up onto her sofa during the video and then crouch down to give her son Future a quick smooch before continuing her dancing spree.

Not only is this video a beautiful tribute to Whitney Houston on the anniversary of her death, but it’s also such a lovely celebration of motherhood. Internet, you can thank Ciara for that smile on your face, because this video is simply inspiring.

1 9 Months Pregnant Ballerina

Mary Helen Bowers stunned the world when she began posting these pregnant ballet poses. Already an Instagram queen in the ballet world, she only brought more attention to her talents when she began dancing throughout her pregnancy, and even in her ninth month, I don’t even remember leaving the couch much in the last month! Bowers had performed with the New York City Ballet for ten years and couldn’t even fathom a day without dancing. She admitted to having to slow down a tad, but she kept dancing until the end of her pregnancy. She also mentioned that it helped alleviate a lot of her back pain and swelling. With over 70,000 followers, it’s clear she’s earned some fans with her pregnant dance routines that remain simply elegant even with the growing belly. I suppose pregnancy doesn’t really hinder talent, her dominance of the craft is still undeniable, after all she did train Natalie Portman for her role in Black Swan!

Hip Hop Mama

[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-P12vfN7BE[/EMBED_YT]
Seven months pregnant with her third child, Christina Litle shows no signs of slowing down during this hip hop routine. Christina is a teacher of hip hop classes at a California High School, so she’s not about to cut it out of her routine just yet. With the exception of one squat drop move, there is nothing this pregnant mama can’t do; she keeps up with those teens no problem! There are times where I felt a little skeptical about that belly and if it was actually real! It’s mind-blowing seeing how well she can move while being so pregnant! I’m so impressed I might have watched the video about six or seven times in awe. Plus, does anyone notice how long this routine feels? I would have been out of breath after the first few seconds, but there Christina is putting me to shame as the difficulty of her routine increases, even completing the routine with something similar to the splits!

Pregnant Pole Dancer

[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sgxSfiy030[/EMBED_YT] Speaking of the splits, I can't believe this woman could do them at seven months pregnant! I'm still not sure how anyone does the splits, let alone while pregnant, a time when touching your toes becomes a challenge or impossible! Cleo “The Hurricane,” a professional pole dancer, instructor and even award winning competitor, went viral when she posted her pregnant pole dancing routine. She admits to receiving much scrutiny over it but also a lot of love for her body positivity. Cleo admits that pole dancing allowed her to feel attractive again during pregnancy, because pregnancy can often make us feel unattractive, something that any pregnant woman can relate to. You can see her beaming with confidence during her routine and somehow she is still able to move her hips and glide across the floor effortlessly in those massive heels, truly impressive, not an easy task even without the belly!

Labor Inducing Choreography

[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wl-uwqrD__I[/EMBED_YT] This mom is so not “Sorry” for her dance routine, in fact, I’m sure she’s quite grateful. Turns out that dancing can induce labor, and when you’re waiting for baby to hurry up and get out here already, then this could be the solution you’ve been waiting for! That’s exactly what Kortni Mclady was trying to do at 38 weeks pregnant. Kortni took it upon herself to learn all the choreography to Justin Bieber’s music video for his song “Sorry” and posted the video which went viral quickly. I love that the video is on in the background so you can see that this mama is hitting every move perfectly! It’s spot on! The icing on the cake of this dance routine is that four hours after posting this video, mama got her wish, her water broke and baby Fletcher arrived, perhaps dancing out, or we can at least imagine it happened that way.

Pregnant Belly Dancer

[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRIktA7qo8M[/EMBED_YT] This is performance is simply astounding! I can honestly say I never thought this particular style of dancing was even possible while pregnant, but Portia proves me wrong, very wrong! This video was taken only three days prior to Portia giving birth, and although she looks about ready to pop, it doesn’t seem to slow down her routine one bit! The video starts without you being able to view her belly, and you wouldn’t even know she was pregnant by the way she’s still able to sway her hips, but there’s no denying she’s pregnant once she turns around. Portia even accomplishes a few belly rolls alongside all the hip movement and I’m just at a loss for words at how this is even possible! Portia sure makes pregnancy looks glamorous and even a little bit easy; she’s a stellar belly dancer and an amazing entertainer. This is sure to be a performance that people won’t soon forget.

Mama Cha Cha

In this very short dance snippet you can see dance instructor Sharon Pakir and her very pregnant belly doing some Cha Cha choreography with fellow dancers during one of her classes. She admits that she can’t teach for as long as she used to, cutting down her schedule to two hours a night, which is still extremely impressive! Sharon also admits to the Cha Cha lessons giving her swollen feet, but that it’s so worth it, she can’t simply give up something she loves this much, it’s good for her soul. During pregnancy it’s nice to have a little escape, most of us go to the spa, but for Pakir, this is her “me time.” You can tell by the way she sways to the music effortlessly that the dance floor is her second home. She welcomed her son Charlie a few weeks after this video was taken, he’s sure to learn some moves along the way, how could he not?

Mama's Still Got Moves

[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2xrV_zmgk8[/EMBED_YT] This simply stunning dance routine danced to Clean Bandit’s song “Rather Be” is only made more beautifully inspiring by its very pregnant dancer. You can see her absolute joy radiating from her as she takes to the dance floor, allowing us to take part in her love for dance and celebration of motherhood. Watch as her arms move elegantly to the music as if she is one with it. She’s able to spin so gracefully across the dance floor as if there was no added weight to her at all. I love all the different dances incorporated here, a little modern dance, a bit of hip hop and jazz, it’s simply unique. Mama gives us a few jumps and even a leg kick, all the motions that would have had me insta-barfing during pregnancy, but you can see that this mama isn’t bothered at all, instead she looks positively radiant! If only I could dance like this on any given day!

Life Of The Party

[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJKfI_PNgrE[/EMBED_YT]
Weddings are the perfect time to let loose and have a little fun on the dance floor. Well this mama is tearing up the dance floor and impressing all the guests with her moves by opening up the dance floor for the night. People are screaming and cheering as she shows off her stellar moves. I’m pretty sure those moves will get passed down somehow, they simply must! I love how this woman just dominates the dance floor, winding those hips and just feeling the music. The MC watches on as she heads out onto the dance floor, I’m not sure he expected her to keep dancing after a couple of moves, but there she goes, rocking it and not ready to go anywhere just yet, she doesn’t show even the slightest sign of fatigue, I think she might dance the night away. You can tell pregnancy isn’t going to hinder her ability to party and burn a hole in the dance floor.

Hips Don't Lie

[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5asHL6Vpxs[/EMBED_YT]
We all love a little Ed Sheeran and his smooth vocals, but his latest song “Shape of You” is a hip shaker and a move maker as this mama can attest to! This mama was simply feeling the tune and decided to film herself dancing to it, perhaps she’s not a professional dancer, but applause is due for how she can shake and wind those hips! What belly? It doesn’t seem to get in her way at all! I remember feeling so stiff during pregnancy and would have never been able to move my hips like this, so I’m just in awe that she can manage it! I think this mama is definitely in love with her shape in this very body positive video that also happens to be fun loving and entertaining. This mama to be is just celebrating her little miracle in the most beautiful form of expression, through the art of dance.

Mo Belly No Problem

[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDARn4eha_g[/EMBED_YT]
Another hip hop mama, but she hits those steps hard! You just have to witness this mom’s fierce dance routine. Not only does this momma crush every move, she simply stomps out the competition, I mean what competition really? She dances better than everyone in the dance studio! It’s simply impossible to ignore her talent and her growing belly! Her name is Criscilla Anderson a talented choreographer who just so happens to be six and a half months pregnant in this video. If not for those few brief glances of her belly under that baggy blouse, you wouldn’t even know she was pregnant with moves like those! She’s got quick feet with lots of bounce in her step and not even a hint of difficulty bending, jeez, I’m a little envious right now, I have a one year old and my back’s still too sore to even allow me to touch my toes comfortably! Criscilla, you amaze and astonish!

First Place Mama

[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94hszn3aQk0[/EMBED_YT] Wow! These two can put on quite the show! There’s really no wonder why Stephanie Stevenson and her partner Zweli Barton won first place in this dance competition, they’re amazing! What’s even more amazing is that Stephanie is 7 months pregnant and this is the first time her and Zweli have ever danced together! I know you’re wondering how can that be? Well part of this particular dance competition is to pair people up randomly, how exciting! Give these two a little Latin music and there is no stopping them. It’s amazing to see these perfect strangers read each other so perfectly on the dance floor, but perhaps that’s all a part of being a professional dancer, and a good one at that! The spins, the quick feet, the adorable interaction between both of them, the splits, and oh yeah, the pregnant lady with all the moves, it’s easy to forget about Stephanie’s belly when the performance is just so intensely entertaining.

Pregnant Pirouette

[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRrsCwU_Yg8[/EMBED_YT] I know there will be some mama’s out there watching this that are currently suffering from morning sickness and wondering how the heck this woman can spin and spin and spin without wanting to immediately barf everywhere? Perhaps it has something to do with the countless years of ballet training? It’s memorizing watching this 6 month pregnant ballerina’s baby bump spin around and around. I counted about fifteen spins in a row! That’s incredible! What’s even more impressive is how the dancers spins are required to increase in speed until they essentially become a blurred body, truly become lost in the music. This woman’s leg work is so flawless and she never loses her balance during any of the spins. You would think the belly would throw her off balance at least a little, but she shows no signs of difficulty, in fact, every move is near perfect and worthy of applause.

Rockin' Some Reggaeton

[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juGy9tW0B1s[/EMBED_YT] Here’s another mama who knows how to move her hips, filming herself dancing to some Reggaeton and making it look easy. Not only can this momma to be move her hips, she can also still dip it low and somehow refrain from falling and is able to rise again. She moves so well to the music, even incorporating some moves that traditionally belong to the belly dancing style. The entire time she looks to be having so much fun, it’s clear to see that dancing is something she truly enjoys, especially since the video nearly goes for ten minutes! This girl is a dance machine that just won’t quit, she actually seems to have more energy by the end of the video, and I’m exhausted just watching it! Can I also just take a moment to appreciate this woman’s awesome hair and facial expressions during the entire performance? She’s fiercely confident and I love it! Go mama go!

She's So Huge

[EMBED_YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVuittFyM34[/EMBED_YT]
This video seemed like the perfect way to end this article, it’s hilarious and showcasing some pretty talented mama’s from the What’s Up Mom’s YouTube Channel. Not only is this an excellent parody for the song “Fancy” by Iggy Azalea, but it also allows these moms to be to get real about pregnancy problems and even show off their singing, acting and dancing chops! “I’m so Pregnant” is the anthem all pregnant ladies have been waiting for. I dare you not to giggle as this mama outlines all the deepest woes that preggos have, all while entertaining us with her clever rhymes and funky moves. My favourite part of the video is when the mama and her backup dancers bust a move in front of the fence; I laughed far too hard and might have hurt myself. This video is so much fun that I think they could actually pull off making “the waddle” a dance move! Sources: Facebook, Youtube
