We can pretty much all agree that wanting something is very different from getting it. Likewise, almost everyone will probably freely admit that people are what they eat. The actual snack foods and beverages that have an impact on conception can be rather surprising, because not everything that may seem healthy actually is, and not always for obvious reasons. This may lead women to think they should drink bottled water, but they would be wrong. Bottled water should be avoided all together. The reason for this has to do with the bottle and not so much the water.

The plastic bottle that the water comes in can cause the water to have chemicals called xenohormones in it. These xenohormones can mimic estrogen in a women’s body causing a woman to have too much estrogen and can throw the normal balance of hormones off, thus delaying conception.
