Social media has definitely changed the way we see the world. The pressure is on to keep up with the perfect moms on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook with their six packs and Pinterest-worthy cupcakes. So, how exactly is one supposed to be a super mom? A recent video made by the hilarious comedians Molly Erdman, Laurel Coppock and Megan Grano contains a great suggestion for how to measure up: lie.

The film gives moms tips on how to deal with boastful, brazen and buxom other mothers lurking at seemingly every playground.

"We brought a LOT of toys to the playground today," Molly quips.

"We brought a drone," Megan is quick to add.

"We brought our own sand," Laurel brags. "It's artisanal sand.... We got it on goop. That's Gwyneth Paltrow's website."

Although the side-splitting short film is meant to be an exaggeration, moms comparing themselves to each other is a real problem. Next time an annoying mom is going on and on about all of the amazing things her kid can do, and making you feel like sh**, remember this: she's probably lying. At least just a little bit. Proof? Read on for 15 hilarious times moms were caught stretching the truth to make themselves look better on social media.

15 Kim Kardashian West's Bikini Throwback

One Friday, while pregnant with her second child, Saint, Kim Kardashian West posted a flashback pic of herself rocking a silver sequin bikini top. The photo is more than 10 years old, and paints the reality star in a flattering light. Instead of just telling the truth and confessing to the world that she was feeling a bit down and needed a pick-me-up by reminding everyone how hot she used to be, she claimed her toddler was the one who posted the picture.

The caption of the photo read, “North posted this while playing games on my phone. Not sure why or how she chose it but I’m not complaining! LOL I deleted it so now reposting it myself!”

Kim once shared that, while pregnant with Saint, she felt like a "f***ing whale." It's public knowledge that North has her very own iPhone to play games on. Also, we are all aware it's possible to simply change Instagram captions instead of going to the trouble of deleting and reposting photos. We don't blame Kim for posting an image of herself looking fly. We're only a bit miffed that she obviously stretched the truth about the reason why.

14 Son Called Out His Mom For Lying On Facebook

Koran Hackman is a 21-year-old civil affairs specialist in the U.S. Army. He's also refreshingly honest. One day, Hackman came across two photos on Facebook, posted by his mom, of his adorable 3-year-old nephew, Chance. Right away, he had a feeling his mama was flat-out lying in the caption accompanying the pics, and called her out right there on the social media platform.

The caption of the photo reads, "My mother told my grandson, 'If you're bad, Santa will not give you gifts under the tree.' My grandson told her, 'I don't believe in Santa. I beleive in God, and through Him all things are possible.' He's only 3, but he knows the word."

Hackma's response to his mom's sweet post? "My mother is out here lying on Facebook. My nephew speaks in Power Ranger quotes, he ain't say none of this."

After posting his two cents, Hackman went to bed, not giving his comment a second thought. When he woke up the next morning, his post had gone viral, and has gotten more than 279,000 likes and 133,000 retweets to date. This story is yet another reminder not to believe everything you read online.

13 Ivanka Trump's Date Night Confusion

Ivanka Trump recently became a first daughter after her daddy dearest was elected to be the latest President of the United States. Currently, her father's ability to tell the truth is being questioned by many in congress. This past September, the blonde beauty and mother-of-three lied about her whereabouts, and got caught in the act.

In an Instagram post that has since been deleted, Ivanka shared a photo of herself dressed to the nines in her Manhattan living quarters.. The pic's caption claimed she was getting ready for a "date night" with her "love."

Unfortunately, on the exact same night the photo was posted, Ivanka appeared on CNN supporting her pops as he participated in the Republican debate...in California. Even if Ivanka has a super-speedy private jet, there's no way she was readying herself for dinner and movie in NYC mere hours before cheering her father on in the Golden State.

12 Miranda Kerr's Secret

Supermodel Miranda Kerr has been accused of using Photoshop to further slim down her tiny frame on more than one occasion. The above picture was posted on Instagram by the Victoria's Secret Angel in October of 2013, less than three years after giving birth to her son Flynn.

After the beauty posted the pic, commenters wondered if the wavy appearance of the carpet behind her was a tell-tale sign the photo had been messed with. Kerr never confirmed or denied the rumors, but many felt there was no question the photo had been altered before it was posted.

Miranda is sending a message to other women by using Photoshop to alter her appearance. She's already one of the most beautiful and fit women in the world, but still feels the need to strive for unrealistic perfection when sharing images of herself. When women are comparing themselves to pictures that are not reality, the pressure to measure up can feel insurmountable.

11 Kim Kardashian West's Beach Blunder

Kim Kardashian West was caught being untruthful once again in April of 2014 when she posted a gorgeous photo of a beach and captioned the shot simply: "Thailand beach." The reality star did not give credit to anyone for the photo, alluding to the fact that she herself was the one who snapped the beautiful shot.

Kim did in fact travel to Thailand in the spring of 2014, but a quick internet search will reveal that she didn't take the photo she posted. When one types the exact caption of her blissful Instagram post, "Thailand beach", into Google Images, the photo above is one of the first to appear. Oops.

Kim may, in fact, have visited the lovely spot pictured above while in the Southeast Asian country, but she can't take credit for capturing a photo of her travels. It's one likely to give other moms around the world a major case FOMO while scrolling through her Instagram feed.

10 Jenelle Evans Stretches The Truth To Sell Endorsed Products

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is a spokesperson for Flat Tummy Tea. She swears by the stuff, and posted "before" and "after" photos side by side on Instagram to show how much the elixir has helped whip her tummy into shape.

The caption of the photos read, "I’ve been talking a lot about @flattummytea recently and look at the difference it’s making! I’ve been drinking Flat Tummy Tea for the last couple of weeks and haven’t made any changes to my diet. Bloating is no longer an issue, I feel lighter and have lots more energy. It really works!"

Her transformation, while pretty impressive, didn't fool some of her most observant followers, who were pretty sure she took the photos in question on the exact same day with the only difference being a change in posture. Either that, or she was meticulously careful to don the same sports bra and rolled down sweats, stand in front of the same background and get the lighting exactly the same in her "after" shot as they were in her "before" shot. Some even speculated that the reality star has chin stitches in both photos. Could it be the work she's obviously had done is more responsible for her flat tummy than the tea she touts? Highly likely.

9 Super-Fit Mom Lies About Giving Birth?

Personal trainer and Instagram fitness sensation Simone Gately has five children under the age of nine. Many have accused her of lying about actually carrying and giving birth to all of her kids. Apparently, she's super fit due to her twice-daily gym sessions and time spent using her kids as weights.

Some of Gately's 47 thousand followers back up her claim that she's been pregnant with and delivered all of her children. Others don't believe it's possible for her to look like she does after giving birth five times. One commenter wrote, "Absolutely no way you've ever had a child in your life." Another added, "I wonder if her body went through the toll of birthing a child." Still another wondered, "Did she adopt them?"

Gately claims she's just a regular mom and has shared, "I am like any other normal mum who works and juggles the busy lives of her children. My day starts at 6 a.m. with some sort of run or walk and includes the school run, helping with homework, running to the store, organizing parties and activities, while also managing to squeeze in a workout at home."

8 Mariah Carey Is Thankful For Photoshop

Musical genius and mother-of-two Mariah Carey posted a photo to Instagram last Thanksgiving of herself sporting skin-tight clothing and sky high heels. Her fun pose was only made better by the pie and canned whipped cream she was holding, and the pic was captioned, "Festivating!! #happythanksgiving."

Carey wasn't the only celeb who shared how she had chosen to give thanks with her fans on this special day, but she was the only one who took more heat than a roasting turkey for the photo she posted. It wasn't long before those commenting on the image called Mariah on the carpet after discovering clues to support the claim that Photoshop had been used to alter the photo.

One commenter wondered, "Should the cabinet door and mirror bend like that?" Another added, "That's got to be some of the worst photoshopping I've seen!"

Other followers were quick to defend Mimi, and chimed in to show her their support. One wrote, "Let her be she looks happy." A different commenter stated, "Who cares if it's photoshop. Who doesn't fix their pics nowadays... so let it go and move on or don't follow her. Simple as that."

7 Britney Spears Lies About Corn

Pop icon Britney Spears may have sung a corny song lyric or two in her day, but no one could believe it when the mother-of-two actually lied about what she was eating for dinner. Who does that?! Britney does, b****. She posted a photo of a plate of corn on Instagram and captioned it, "It's honestly too good to be true mmmm."

That's because the corn in question honestly wasn't something she was eating. It soon came to light that Britt had ripped the photo right from the internet and claimed it was her own. How did her followers unearth the truth? All one most do is Google "grilled Mexican corn" to realize it's one of the first images the search brings up.

Why, Britney, why? We all love you. We will still adore you even if you aren't a corn chef. It's time to get real about what you are eating for dinner. It's alright if you went through Mcdonald's drive through, it's even okay if you were eating burned corn you accidentally scorched while catching up on who did and didn't get a rose on The Bachelor. In fact, your fans will just appreciate you more if you reveal your flaws.

6 Beyonce's Thigh Gap Debacle

Beyonce is known for her killer bod, and many have applauded how quickly she bounced back after giving birth to her first child, Blue Ivy. There is no question that Bey is one hot mama. Even so, it seems she feels it's necessary to use Photoshop every now and again to ensure she's looking flawless on social media.

One day, Queen B posted photos of herself having a grand old time on the golf course. Soon, commenters accused her of editing some of the shots to widen her thigh gap. One fan wrote, "Her thighs get thinner like magic. The Photoshop is unnecessary." Others were quick to point out that the wavy appearance on her upper thighs proved she had most definitely edited the pics to make herself look thinner.

Many moms look up to Beyonce. She's confident and comfortable in her own skin. There's no need whatsoever for the singer to alter photos of herself. She's beautiful just the way she is, just like all mamas.

5 Miranda Kerr's Devilish Behavior

Miranda Kerr has been at the center of more than one Instagram scandal. She's slim and trim from head-to-toe, but still doesn't seem satisfied with her amazing physique. It seems she feels the need to Photoshop her flaws in order to live up to her own personal standard of beauty.

The extremely petite beauty was criticized by fans after she posted a picture of herself and two other Victoria's Secret models posing together at an Angels fashion show. Why? Other versions of the photo had also been released, and it soon became embarrassingly obvious that Kerr had posted a photo that was glaringly different from the original. At first, the mother-of-one denied having any knowledge that the image in question had been altered when she posted it.

However, she later deleted the damning photo and posted the original, un-Photoshopped version along with an apology. While owning up to her mistake was most likely difficult to do, Kerr showed courage by admitting her Photoshop faux pas.

4 Kim Kardashian West's Booty Shot Blunder

Selfie expert and queen of Instagram, Kim Kardashian West was accused of being untruthful after a "candid" shot she posted to Instagram of herself and Blac Chyna was immediately identified by fans as one that had been messed with.

The unnatural curvature of the tiles in the pic are a pretty sure sign that the photo has been doctored in order to slim down Kim's tummy. Those who look closely will notice that the door is also curved in an unnatural way in the shot.

Although Kim has denied she altered the bootylicious selfie any way, we beg to differ. Photoshop expert Peeje T. confirmed to Radar Online that the photo in question has been “manipulated.” Peeje explained, "You will notice the door curves out at Kim’s midsection. This would only happen if she changed her waistline."

Editorial director of the The Cut, Stella Bugbee, didn't mince words when discussing Kim's latest Insta-scandal. She stated, “I’m guessing everything about that image was Photoshopped! But, I mean ... do we even care if it was Photoshopped? Why do we need KK to be ‘authentic’?”

3 Britney Spears Is A Poolside Pretender

"Pretty Girls" singer Britney Spears took some heat from her fans after a photo she posted of herself rocking an itsy bitsy yellow bikini that didn't seem to be authentic.

The blurry edge around her midsection is an almost undeniable sign that the mother of two used Photoshop to make the image more appealing. Additionally, more than a few of Spears' Twitter followers have brought attention to the fact that it seems that the patch of concrete underneath her lower back is completely missing.

One fan wrote, “@britneyspears That skinny part of your back is so Photoshopped, whoever did it forgot to put the path in. Another tweeted, “It's been Photoshopped under her back. Where's the pool's edge? Clearly a Photoshopped back arch.”

Spears once shared with Women's Health how she stays fit while also juggling the many demands of motherhood. She said, “I like my workouts to be effective in a short amount of time. I start with 20 minutes of intense cardio — usually running — move on to light free weights, body-weight exercises such as pushups, squats, and situps, then finish it off with a stretch.” Even if the photo above was altered, Britt looks great. It appears her fitness plan is paying off.

2 Kim Zolciak's Fake Fit Frame

Kim Zolciak is yet another celebrity mother accused of using Photoshop to enhance her appearance. She's the proud mom of 6 beautiful children, and gave birth to twins in November of 2013. She's worked hard to stay in shape while raising her family, and, for good reason, is pleased with the results.

Zolciak is also delighted with her size 4 frame, and eager to share her rockin' bod with the world. After the reality star posted a photo of herself in a red swimming suit with a plunging neckline, critics were quick to question whether or not the pics had been altered with Photoshop.

Not wasting any time, Kim fired back at the haters, commenting, “It's me alllll F—KIN ME haters. every last bit is ME!! Zoom in real f—kin close too. I dare you.” Rumors the pictures were messed with before they were posted have never been confirmed. However, we think thou dost protest too much, Kim.

1 Beyonce's Thigh Gap Gets Another Makeover

In September of 2014, Beyonce posted a glamorous photo of herself descending the stairs of a lavish yacht while wearing a teeny bikini. The star has been accused of using Photoshop to alter her thigh gap before, and this image was yet another that had her fans wondering why she would go to the trouble of editing her fabulous self in any way.

As perplexing as it was to many that Bey would want to give herself a thigh gap, the wavy stairs indicate she's once again messed with a photo before allowing the world to have a look.

There you have it, moms. Next time you reach your breaking point after perusing Instagram and looking at photo after photo of perfect moms living their perfect lives, remember this: if an image appears too good to be true, it most likely is. Stop comparing, and start believing you are enough. Love your kids imperfectly in real life and don't sweat the rest.
