In the Internet Age, it’s all too easy to get pregnancy and parenting tips from celebrities! They’ve got a lot to say because they love publicity…and because people love to ask them questions! Now and then, their advice can get annoying.

Maybe part of it is the fact that anything these women say ends up at a million websites (including our beloved BabyGaga). It’s not really the fault of these celeb Moms that their opinions travel far and wide online. However, we’re the ones who see their advice at our favorite online hangouts. We see it over and over again…

Sometimes, it seems like celeb Moms should just enjoy their luxurious lifestyles, instead of letting their fans know the best ways to handle pregnancy and parenting. Are reality TV stars, actresses and pop stars really qualified to dole out this type of advice?

Let’s face it…a lot of kids of celebrities have problems when they grow up, perhaps because growing up with wealthy, famous parents exposes them to a lot of temptation. Everyone knows this. Celebrity moms know it, too.

If you occasionally scoff at celebrity pregnancy and parenting tips, just like I do, it might also be because the tips are coming from wealthy women who get a great deal of assistance during pregnancy, as well as tons of help with their babies (and housework, and meal prep, and errands) after they are born.

Also, certain celebrities, such as actress/GOOP.com founder Gwyneth Paltrow, offer advice that only “one percenters” can take seriously! Actually, there are probably some “one percenters” who also find Gwyneth annoying!

Today, we want to share information about fifteen celeb Moms who should probably STFU. While these ladies have their merits, some of their commentary about pregnancy and parenting verges on preachy.

Other comments are just plain dumb.

Mind your own business, rich celebrity Moms! We love your films, TV shows and music, (at least, most of the time) but we’d rather take pregnancy and parenting advice from people who live in the real world. Wouldn't we?

15 Does Heidi Montag Really Need Kristin Cavallari's Advice?

Apparently, Heidi Montag has been calling up her former The Hills co-star, Kristen Cavallari to access a wealth of baby-naming advice! Kristen, who's not known for her gentle manner, advised Heidi to make up her own mind about baby names.

Kristen has three kids with her husband, Miami Dolphin's quarterback, Jay Cutler. Kristen seems into parenthood, although she refers to her own daughter as the "honey badger" ("she's adorable, but she will literally rip your face off"). Hey, like mother, like daughter, right?

This year, Kristen's branching out into annoying GOOP territory with some unsolicited lifestyle advice. For example, she's preparing a cookbook for publication which is going to be "a reflection of how I eat on a daily basis". Oh, joy!

Kristen's reputation as one of the legendary mean girls of reality TV makes her an unusual choice as a confidante during pregnancy, parenthood or at any other time.

14 Jenny McCarthy's Anti-vaxxer Viewpoint Was Based On A Bogus Study

Jenny's status as a former Playboy centerfold and MTV celebrity give her tons of credibility as a medical expert...right? Jenny got on the soapbox about the dangers of vaccines years ago. Oprah Winfrey helped her to spread her dubious message.

Unfortunately, her views on the dangers of the MMR vaccine have no scientific validity.

Jenny, who married New Kids On The Block member, Donnie Wahlberg, in 2014, has been trying to put her controversial history as an anti-vaxxer crusader behind her, perhaps because one key study by Andrew Wakefield and his research team, which detailed the risks of the MMR vaccine, was found to be fraudulent.

Thanks to Jenny and others who have frightened parents and want to change the frequency of immunizations, as well as the formulas of vaccines (and Jenny still believes that both of these things need to happen), there have been more outbreaks of mumps, measles and whooping cough in the USA.

13 Should We Be Strict Moms Like Madonna?

Madonna practices a strict style of parenting. That's her right, but has it backfired? Known for limiting (and usually eliminating) TV time, pushing her extreme eating habits on her kids and dragging them along with her on endless world tours, Madonna was once a rebel who ate out of dumpsters to survive in New York City.

Today, she sets some tough rules and her son, Rocco, rebelled against it all by going to live with his Dad, director Guy Ritchie in England, against the rules of the child custody agreement. When Guy and Madonna fought it out in court, the rules of the child custody agreement were changed. Rocco is now legally allowed to live with Dad.

Madonna surely loves Rocco and she seemed to unravel a bit after he fled. Parenting is tough for everyone, so it's not good to judge her too much. We don't have all of the details. However, her years of preaching about the merits of strict parenting have definitely left her with egg on her face.

Her parenting advice was the most annoying when it was delivered with a fake English accent!

12 Is Kim Kardashian A Good Resource For Parenting Tips?

Would you take pregnancy and parenting advice from this woman? Kim's quite a character and she rose to fame via an adult tape. Now, she's changing lanes by offering plenty of information about her pregnancies and parenting style.

In 2016, she warned her brother, Rob, who was preparing to become a father for the first time, that he'd need hand sanitizer "at all times"...because babies puke a lot! Another pearl of wisdom (about the horrors of 4 a.m. baby feedings) was aimed at Chrissy Teigen, who's doled out more than a little annoying advice of her own.

Kim has built a big brand based on her contouring skills, her steely desire to make a fortune, her wacky family, her social media presence and her licensed products. Her empire is impressive. However, her kids may become very spoiled. North West and Saint West will probably be negatively impacted by the fact that they dwell in her world of superficiality and materialism every day and night.

With this in mind, we're not sure that pregnancy and parenting tips from Kim are really so valuable.

11 Will Brandy Glanville EVER Stop?

How many years of her life is Brandi Glanville going to waste trashing her ex, Eddie Cibrian and his partner, LeAnn Rimes? It's hard to say for sure, but it's a pretty safe bet that we'll continue to hear the former Real Housewife of Beverley Hills' "insightful" opinions about both of these people... forever.

As recently as late summer of 2017, Brandi labelled her ex "dumb" while appearing on the British version of Celebrity Big Brother. She laced her tirade with lots of profanity to give her opinions a bit more emphasis!

The sad truth is that the general public might not be too interested in Brandi Glanville if she did decide to move on and STFU. This means that there'll be more rants on a regular basis.

I think six weeks is a good time frame for getting over a bad relationship. Drink some wine, watch some chick flicks and then get on with things. Brandi needs a bottle of rosé, a cheery rom-com and a completely new direction in life.

10 Why Can't Gwyneth Paltrow Mind Her Own Beeswax?

I have to say, some of Gwyneth's "well-meaning" advice is comedy gold. She can't seem to do anything right in terms of advising women who don't have her "silver spoon" (she's Steven Spielberg's goddaughter, for God's sake!) advantages and elitist point of view. In terms of giving me something to chuckle over while I drink coffee at my desk during ten-hour shifts, Paltrow reigns supreme. However, her advice is beyond ridiculous.

For example, her opinions about nutrition may be rather bogus. Recently, a chef who worked for her and her ex-husband, Coldplay dreamboat, Chris Martin, confessed that the couple seemed to eat almost nothing.

Is this really the secret of Gwyneth's sylphlike frame and angular face? Maybe it's not the power cleanses and Tracy Anderson workouts after all? Eating almost nothing is the time-honored Hollywood secret of sliding into sample-size gowns!

The beauty of Gwyneth is that she knows how much her advice annoys others, but keeps it coming on a regular basis. She's like a runaway train.

9 Halle Berry Should Keep A Lower Profile

Halle had a lot to say about parenting while promoting her latest film, Kings, which is getting dismal reviews. In the film, she played the mom to a large group of foster kids and waxes poetic about how her own experiences as a mother helped her to get into character.

However, Halle's heated and hateful child custody battle with her male model ex, Gabriel Aubry, seems to indicate that her own home isn't always a peaceful paradise.

We all have family problems now and then. However, Halle seems to have more relationship woes and drama than most. Also, she did a hit-and-run!

This beautiful woman may benefit from keeping a lower profile. Some people feel that she's the reason why her life is often in a state of turmoil. After her relationship with the studly Aubry failed, she went on to another relationship with another hunky dude (actor Olivier Martinez), which was also fated to crash and burn.

8 Mila Kunis's Views On Breastfeeding Get A Bit Tiresome

Breastfeeding is great. We can all agree on this. Although it was very easy for me, I understand that some women find it harder or don't want to do it. I respect that we're all different. Every Mom needs to make choices which work for her.  This is why I find that some celebrities, including Mila Kunis, go a bit overboard about the wonders of breastfeeding...or get a bit too political about breastfeeding.

Recently, Kunis shared information about the trauma that she experienced due to being "shunned" for breastfeeding in public. Hopefully, her millions, her mansion and her cute hubby, Ashton Kutcher, as well as her adorable baby girl, were enough to comfort her after her ordeal.

Once, my breasts leaked while I was working a night shift at Blockbuster video. I had thought about my baby while rearranging VHS tapes on the store walls. This triggered unwanted lactation. If only I could have shared my breastfeeding troubles with Vanity Fair!

7 Olivia Wilde - Another Breastfeeding Crusader

Olivia Wilde has two cute kids with her husband, Hollywood funny man, Jason Sudeikis. Her son, Otis, is two years old and her daughter, Daisy is still a baby.

She experienced a little turbulence online after she posed for Glamour Magazine a few years ago, while wearing a designer gown from Robert Cavalli (and professional makeup - was it Revlon?) as she breastfed her son, Otis, in a diner setting.

Some women felt that she was trying to shame them. Since then, she's tried to tone down the breastfeeding crusading a little bit, probably because it's so much easier to let women know that she fully respects their choices, whether they decide to breastfeed or not.

A lot of female celebs get on the bandwagon about breastfeeding. Sometimes, it feels like they are talking down to other women. How many of us really don't know that breastfeeding is "natural" and "healthy". We're not morons, you know.

6 Playmate Kenda Wilkinson Once Breastfed Herself

Now that we're on the topic of breastfeeding, let's talk about former Playboy playmate (and former plaything of the late Playboy founder, Hugh Hefner) Kendra Wilkinson, who claims that she used to breastfeed herself at parties on a regular basis!

This story goes into TMI territory. It's slightly unbelievable, also. Sometimes, when we're lactating, we do start to leak at moments which are less than ideal. It happens. However, most of us don't respond to the crisis by breastfeeding ourselves.

While I don't expect riveting commentary on life from former Playboy playmates, Kendra's story just reinforces my belief that breastfeeding stories from celebrities who sell their looks for a living are, by default, irritating.

I don't want to know what Kendra thinks of the taste of her own breast milk. However, it's harder than it seems to avoid learning these types of details! I'd have to go off of the grid to get away from these sorts of stories!

Kendra doesn't seem like a bad person. I'm sure she's really nice. I'm just a bit skeptical about her self-breastfeeding tales. I should have more faith in her!

5 Emily Blunt Also Wants You To Breastfeed Your Baby

Emily is so pretty and a great actress. She's likeable in general. She's also married to uber-likeable John Krasinski, who played every girl's favorite "guy next door" on The Office. However, despite the general likability of Emily, she's been sharing some fairly gnarly breastfeeding stories with the general public.

For example, she explained to Ellen Degeneres that she produces enough breast milk to feed a small medieval village. When she isn't likening herself to a wet nurse from the Middle Ages, she's comparing her lactating boobs to "Two enormous, like, heads. Veiny heads."

What ever happened to mystique? These days, we simply know too much about these people! It makes you long for the days of Old Hollywood, when mysterious celebs like Greta Garbo kept their fans guessing...

Hopefully, Emily will chill on the detailed breastfeeding stories in the future. We know it's just a bit of sofa chat for talk shows, but there may be other topics for her to explore which are a bit less clichê.

4 Are Jessica Alba's "Honest" Products Really That Pure?

Jessica Alba has built a massive business empire and this is admirable. She sells products, including baby formula, under her own 'The Honest Company" brand. However, in the recent past, her consumer products company was sued because the person who filed the lawsuit felt that the company's baby formula just wan't organic enough.

Eventually, the lawsuit was dropped. The Honest Company did get official organic certification, via the federal government, before marketing the product in question and that's all that a company has to do. This certification doesn't mean that products are one hundred percent organic.

The Honest Company's marketing message is about purity. During this lawsuit-related scandal, a lot of Honest Company customers learned about every ingredient in one product, baby formula, and some weren't happy.

Last year, a newspaper reported that The Honest Company produced a liquid laundry detergent which includes an ingredient that Alba vowed never to use in her products. The ingredient is sodium lauryl sulfate.

3 Does Chrissy Teigen Have A Bit Too Much To Say?

Chrissy Teigen is very cute and she's also a typical forthright Sagittarian who has a lot to say about a lot of things, from politics to parenting and beyond. I like her in general, but she may be going to bit too far as of late! From wardrobe malfunction explanations to ideal date night scenarios with crooner hubby, John Legend, to scrambled egg hacks and beyond...Chrissy's desire to overshare may be reaching critical mass.

It's easy to get sick of even the most charming celebs when they inundate us with the tiniest details of their daily lives. We gossip-lovers all have a big appetite for information from celebrities, but some of us may become tired of getting so many details from a particular star!

A swimsuit model like Chrissy who shares so many opinions and tips may be cruising for a backlash from her fans. Fame tends to go in cycles, so who knows how long the public will want to listen to everything that Teigen has to say?

2 Nikki Reed's Deep Thoughts On Parenting Are Comedy Gold

Former sparkly Twilight vampire, Nikki Reed, has shared some pregnancy thoughts which aren't really revolutionary. For example, she's been amazed by her pregnant body and all that it can do!

Nikki got deep by letting the public know that her pregnant body has a new fat layer "because my body needs to create breast milk"! Was this a surprise to her? She's also been dazzled by the fact that she is hungrier and thirstier when she's expecting, because her body needs to make amniotic fluid!

Nikki wants to write "love letters" to her body during the gestation period, but that doesn't mean that we want to read them. Lucky Ian Somerhalder must enjoy hearing all of Nikki's deep thoughts on a daily and nightly basis.

Being pregnant is amazing. We do go through some serious adjustments during the entire nine months. However, nothing that Nikki is saying is really brand-new.

1 Amanda Seyfried Sounds A Little Flaky

Amanda is talented and beautiful, just like a lot of Hollywood actresses are. However, she's also guilty of oversharing a little bit now and then (just like so many of the others)! For example, Amanda has talked in depth about the way that her own sense of smell was enhanced while she was expecting.

She said that she could "smell the TV"during pregnancy. While I find her pregnancy musings funnier than some others, it's safe to say that these musings are a bit flaky.

Like many women, including me, Amanda was uncomfortable during pregnancy and just wanted to get the process over with so that she could meet her new baby. She's loving motherhood now that it's a part of her life. We aren't sure if she's still able to smell her own home television, but we wish her all of the best. Amanda conceived while filming a movie with Shirley MacClaine.
