Quoting caseyandayla:" does anyone have light abdomonal cramps? Are they bad?"

i had the same problem so i asked my dr. about it and say said it is more than normal. its juss the muscle fibers in your uterus stretching. she said when it happens try and lay or sit down, and juss get as comfortable as you can, relaxing helps relieve the muscles. she said the further along in your pregnancy you are the more they may intensify but not always. hope this helped!

hey, im tiara (: i am 18 years young, and an excited mommy to be! im currently 19 weeks pregnant, but when i was 16.5 weeks along i took a quad screening test. and my test results came back positive for down syndrome. i am not stressing it yet, until i go see a specialist and they tell me whether its 100% or not. i know being a teen mom is going to be hard enough as is, but being a teen mom of a baby with downs will be even harder if that is the case. im juss looking for any teen mom, or hey even a teen dad of a kid with down syndrome for some advice and support. thanks, thanks, thanks! (:

Hey I'm Bailey. :)
17 years old
I have a 4 month old baby boy named Wyatt James.
We're from Washington.
Currently still with the baby daddy (it's complicated though)
Still in school full-time (graduating ON TIME!! :D )
I used to be a dancer and a cheerleader and I reaalllly miss that! But I guess that's the price you pay for not being careful!
Luckily, I get to start dancing again through my studio in January. I'm going to start back up in my hip hop classes. I danced while I was pregnant and it was no longer "hip hop" to me but "i feel like a HIPPO." haha
Anyways, I was hoping to meet some new friends on here and be able to talk about our experiences.
I love having friends who understand my situation. And I'm willing to give and take as much advice as I can!
So feel free to parenttank me anytime! :)

juss a little status update since my last post. since i had a positive quad screening, i got referred to a specialist. me and the boyfriend went to the specialist on november 17th. the specialist found out that my doctors office had used the wrong due date, the specialist then gave me an ultrasound and measured everything. my odds on having a down syndrome baby are 1:589. everything is fine, healthy and normal. im so excited to meet my baby girl (:

If your a 19 year old parent, is that considered a teen parent?? i mean, cause 18 is the legal age of adulthood, but its still a teen.??

I'm so excited. I can't wait for my first appointment, to know everything! To know the exact due date! But I'm so scared. My husband knows, but my mother doesn't!

I took a pregnancy test a few weeks ago and found out I'm pregnant. My friends mom got me a doctors appointment and found out I'm about 14 weeks with twins. I couldn't figure out how to tell my dad I'm having one. How do I tell him I'm having two?
