My baby keeps spitting up yellow and its not right after feeding him its like way after feeding him and he will just randomly do it and its a lot....
what could this be? I looked it up and it said he could possibly be throwing up bile but then they said that would be yellowish green...
anybody else have a baby that has done this? Oh and hes not breastfed and I know babys who are breastfed spit up yellow cause thats the color of the milk... Hes drinking similac advance shield formula. thanks
it can still be yellow! my daughter drinks formula and it is sometimes yellow spit up!
Bile can still be yellow, I am not sure what else it could be, I would call your pediatrician, is it a lot? just a little bit?
like bright yellow? That is acid if it is. My son did that when he had rotavirus and he had to be admitted to the hospital for dehydration.
But if it's not bright then IDK.
my son did that on regular formula and it's because he had a milk protein allergy.
he threw up the formula and kept throwing up and it was yellow then , it was the stomach acid.
u should call the dr though.
Sounds like you really need to look your pedi's name up on the internet and call him. Yellow spit up is a bad sign. It could be he has an issue with bile coming up and at his age, that's VERY bad. Or he could have severe reflux (which can often be silent and they only throw up a few times) which you also need to get looked into.
he could have an intolerance to the formula he's on as well.
My pediatricians number is in my cell phone and written down in 3 places in our house for babysitters and such. You really NEED to know it.
Last time i as an adult threw up bile i felt like i was going to die. Imagine a little baby. Hun u should google the docs info. If not i rather play it safe and go to an ER or urgent care hes a tiny baby he cant tell u whats wrong so u have to find out. Good luck hun i hope its nothing
