Those of you who were waitress while you were pregnant, when did you stop working??
You may have to get a doctor's note. I don't wait tables, but I work in a nursing home, which also requires me to be on my feet all day. My doctor wrote me a note, and I stopped working at 38 weeks. I had my daughter a week later.
my friend waited up until she had the baby!
have your dr write a note saying your leaving. they cant make you work!

My sister is basically going to try to work as long as she can. She's 26 weeks now and I don't know how she does it... I mean, I wasn't as big or in nearly as much pain with my first as I am now, but I still couldn't have done 6 hours straight on my feet at ANY point... and sure as hell not in my second. Gotta do whatcha gotta do, my hats off to both of ya!!
i was a bartender/waitress until i was 15 weeks pregnant, but i got off on CSST because m bar was unfit for pregnant woman (crazy people throwing glass's at ur head, slipping and falling in the kitchen etc.) otherwise i would of stopped around 8 1/2 months
My boss at Subway couldn't make sandwiches anymore because she was short as it is, but her belly would get in the way and she couldn't reach the veggies in the back row :]
I was on my feet and running around until 37 weeks. I couldn't do much more. My feet would barely fit in my shoes after my 8 hr shift. So my doctor took me off. It was 4 more weeks before I had aiden.
I've known 3 girls that worked up until they went into labor. I would have continued to work until that point if I didn't move and I couldn't transfer to the local applebee's as my SO worked as a managerthere.
