Red bumps-clear fluid filled all over baby BabyBoyTierney 1 child; Louisiana 1071 posts

I had received a call from daycare about 2 weeks ago that my 7 month old had a few red bumps on his belly and on his back and the bumps had clear fluid inside.
Dr suggested I give him benadryl. The bumps were gone in the morning. Well, everyday he gets new bumps and now they are on his legs arms, and the last 2 days have begun to appear on his cheeks.
These bumps do not itch. He has no fever.
I have checked for bed bugs and the bumpsdont fit the description of any other infestation....especially since they dont itch at all.
The only thing that I have changed in his diet are those little baby mum mum's but he got those a few days ago and the bumps have been there since 2 weeks ago. I have been washing his clothes with our detergent for quite some time.
I feel like when I call the nurse she acts like I'm making a big deal out of nothing and my husband thinks it's no big deal but I am very concerned.
Please help....any advice or opinions would be amazing!

My daughter has that same thing. She has had it for a few weeks now. I've been to 2 doctors & all they say is they have no clue what it is & to put Hydrocortisone on it. I'm really not satisfied with those doctors. I think I'm going to go get a 3rd opinion.

I forgot to say her's haven't gone away. They've been there for a few weeks..

Thanks guys. I think Im going to re-wash his bed stuff and clothes in his baby detergent to see if possibly he all of a sudden developed a reaction to the Tide. And also not give him rice snacks. He has an appt in the a.m. but ill see if changing his detergent helps and no rice snack. Ill keep yall posted!

My son has had red bumps on his face that resemble bug bites. He has 3 on his wrist 3 on his leg and 3 on small of his back about 9 on his face. Been to the DR 4 times and she said she is perplexed. We ran him on 15 days of Augmentin with no result. They have subsided to some extent but the ones on his face are still there just now they are tiny red spots. We back tracked what other changes we made...I did research on the internet and found that some people had similar problem with the use of Oxyclean and also from Tide with Downy. My wife actually used a Tide Washing Machine Cleaner product and put the stroller cover in with it which it says on the box not to do. We think the issue is related to the heavy perfume or chemicals in the tide. Our other reasearch indicated it might be MRSA but it did not seem to get worse and worse. We live in Florida so mosquitos are present but we do not think it is bed bugs, mosquitos, fleas etc... It is either from the TIDE or maybe infection. It has not gone away and going on 5-6 weeks. We have eliminated all tide, ocyclean and other harsh detergents and hope this resolve it but it is scary and we are worried it will leave spots on his fare skin. If you have the same issue you can send me a note at swalton at agreema dot come and I we can exchange picture to compare. I feel like a lunatic but when my Doctor said she was perplexed I figured we had to do all the internet research because Doctors are usually just guessing anyway.

Like everyone else said it could be a contact thing most comenly referd to as contact dermatitis . My daughters recently got a strange rash that has a few red puss filled bumps that didnt itch ...turned out they had hand foot and mouth disease which they could have gotten from anyone pretty much . I would watch for bumps in his mouth then youll know. Go onto webmd.com type in childhood rashes go down to commen childhood rashes slide show then look through that till you find one that could match then youll have an idea of what it is and what step you need to take next.
