Did any of you have a toddler with a broken arm? How hard was it for the little one to have a cast on? And how was bathing & such?

We had one once in a day care program. They had a waterproof cast. And, they adapted.

It was just sad to watch him maneuver. Poor thing.

My daughter broke her arm when she was 3. j

The worst part was getting her to keep it in the sling.
Bathing it wasn't terrible. I put a walmart bag over it, and stuffed a washcloth between the bag and cast to soak up any water that may have seeped in.

Awe poor Jack. What happened?

Caiden was much younger but had to have a splint/cast on for several days. He tried using it once in a while but mostly kept in close to his body.

I hope he feels better
