Kyra will be 23 months old this month, and she twirls and pulls out her hair constantly, to the point where her hair is almost all gone.
Has anyone ever heard of this? Should I ask her doctor about it?
My daughter twirls her hair when she is overly tired or stressed out about something. She doesn't do it to the point of pulling hair out though.
Sorry I can't be more of a help :(
My MIL said my SIL did this as a little girl. She thought she was going to be completely bald by the time she went to school, but she said she just kinda ignored it and she eventually stopped. I would mention it to her doctor at her next appt, though.
On a completely different topic.... I LOVE YOUR AVI! She is adorable.
OMG I used to do this.:(. I was around 11 though. When I seen that I was making my hair fall out it scared the shit of me so I stopped.
I know you posted this a whila ago, but I just searched the forums b/c my 22 month old does the same thing! I was just wondering if you had talked to your LOs Dr., or if you had figured out a way to make her stop. My little girl is constantly pulling her hair out and she's already made one small bald spot on the side of her head! :(
Quoting Jenn & Baby Kyra:
What did the Dr. say on Monday? I'm debating whether or not to call my LOs Dr. The bald spot is getting bigger... :(
