When was your last u/s? I know @ 22 wks, baby should weigh approx 15oz. Mine is ahead a little :/ however, I still only feel him every now and then. Plus size women won't feel movement as much. Plus, I think my baby boy is in my back most of the time, which makes it harder to notice. I'm sure you are fine :) good luck! Do you know what you are having?

I will be 20 weeks monday with my second. I am starting to feel some flutters pretty often and can feel him kicking my cervix ALL the time since like week 18 lol ( I have a cervical stitch, so it may be different for me than other women) But I never felt my daughter move during my first pregnancy. I could see her moving, but I only felt her move a total of two times. she was born 8 weeks early and i had an anterior placenta, but it was uncommon that i couldnt feel her. maybe when you go back ask the tech if you have an anterior placenta, I worried constantly because I was extremely high risk as well and was told that it was not normal that i didnt feel the baby but she was fine :) she is two now.

I love this!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone thank you so much for posting! This is my first pregnancy(a boy) I couldnt be more excited. I am at this point 231, with a pre-pregnancy weight of 240. I did loose 20 lbs when i got pregnant due to morning sickness three times a day but none the less my medicare nurse started into me about being obese. She continued to tell me that since i was obese that my child would be obese and i wasnt thinking of his health when i chose to get pregnant. It really wasnt expected as we werent really trying but we werent preventing either. It made me cry so hard that my fiancee had to calm me down. He always tells me i am beautiful and makes me feel good about myself or tries to but i have always been a bit self consoius about it. The nurse then told me that my weight could harm the baby by making him diabetic and that was considered a form of child endangerment. I felt so bad because at this point my doctor hadnt really been telling much of what was going on in my body and i litterally had no idea as i really didnt have anyone to talk to about. So i thought i was gonna be a horrible mother and person because what i did to my baby. It took me weeks to work thru my issues on that subject. Granted i was already carefull about what i ate but i felt like if i even had a cookie or ice cream it was gonna do harm. So its nice to see that there are more curvy women. I dont get to use a computer often so i dont get to post much but this is the first time i have seen this topic!.

I'm plus size and pregnant. I'm due Aug 6th, 2013. I was working out and I lost 60 lbs before I had a miscarriage about 6 months ago, I gained 20 lbs back then I found out I was pregnant. All of my out of town family keep asking me, do you look pregnant yet. I jokingly say, this baby has a lot of flub to poke through. I'm just hoping I remain healthy during pregnancy and my baby is healthy as well. Good luck to you!

went to doc today had a scare doc couldnt find baby's heartbeat and since he didn't hear it last time (said it could be the fact that i was a bigger lady) , so i had to go to do a viability US. drank my 32 ozs of water, and went and had the us and whew what a relief heartrate was 154, and hubby asks the tech to see if she could tell boy or girl, and she said she didnt see any boy parts that it looked like a girl to her but she couldnt be sure till i was 20/21 weeks, i wll be 20 weeks next thursday, so i'm thinking my feeling it was a girl is correct. i will knw for sure on the 20 (hopefully) go for us then.

Well I am thankful I am not alone ladies. I have been plus size since my last pregnancy 10 years ago...I finally got ,y weight down alittle bit when I remarried....and you know what happens when you get comfortable with someone...I am just shocked I guess is the main thing...before I became pregnant everyone was like ...oh when are you due...crushing when you are not pregnant and have been told that you cannot get pregnant again. Now that I am pregnant...Im not sure if its my age or what...people seem surprised that I am pregnant and not just really fat. I mean I look more pregnant now than I ever did. I think some people just need to think before they speak. I know my age is not ideal for a pregnancy but I am 37 not 57. Granted the last few years have not been real kind to my appearance but cmon...seriously. I am having a real hard time finding plus size maternity. I found 1 store...just 1. And they are so flippen expensive!!! I keep buying 2nd hand sweat pants in just larger size but when you are petite, the legs tends to just drag. Enough ranting for me...Im just glad Im not alone.
