o.m.g. I didn't know how much it helps. I applied today and it is a real help for us right now. We barely qualified ($33 under the max) and I can't believe the assistance. I get it for myself, 17 month old and 7 wk old. With my student loan payments starting this month (just finished a 1yr deferment) things were going to be tight and help with the basics is a relief. During my pregnancies in IL we were always told we made 'too much'.
It helps us a lot! We didnt get it for a month because I missed an appointment and I missed it so much. My kids go through everything they give us like crazy!
yea wic is pretty cool, it helps alot. they just gave me a 200 dollar breast pump for free today
It does help.
Quoting Kalob & Logan - I love my:
WIC has been a godsend. My SO recently took a price cut at work, and we're going through a very hard time financially. So it's very nice to know I don't have to worry about providing the basics for my daughter and unborn son.
OT - Mine and my SO's loan repayments will be starting soon, can you tell me how you went about getting a deferment, and have you has your consolidated into ONE monthly payment instead of several (unsub, sub etc...)
WIC is amazing. She gets 7 things of formula a month and goes through all of it like a week before our month is up.
It helps us a ton. Re-defer your loans. They let me do it again right after having my daughter.
Quoting lil miss mama:
I would assume if you use formula it helps a ton.
I wish I still qualified for WIC. They took it away from me because my boyfriend makes to much.
Quoting *Lavendar Lollipops*:
we get 7 cans of formula a month, we go through all 7 cans within like 2 weeks but id rather buy half a months worth of formula than all of it!
