Can you burn pictures onto a DVD-R disc? dur Minnesota 471 posts

All I have is blank DVD discs, and I have literally 6 memory cards full of pictures, and I need to get them off my laptop and save them just in case it decides to take a shit on me, and so I can take more pictures.

So can I do it? It won't make it into a movie or anything? I can just burn them on there, and later on if I need the pictures just pop it in my laptop and I can get any picture I want?

Yes you can. Just make it as a data disc. I do that to store an back up my pictures since the only copies I have are on my pc.

So one you put them on a disc can you put the disc into a diff computer and then load them on that computer? Will it play like a movie if you put it on dvd? That may be a stupid question but hey idk.

Thanks ladies!

One more question- Can I burn them onto the DVD in separate folders so it's organized?
