Sadly I waited on hold with my insuance co/doctor's office (Kaiser) this morning for 45 minutes to get transfered to an "advice nurse" only to be told that she'd have to call me back after she could talk to my doctor. It's now been 2 hours and I've made 2 calls back and can't get anyone to talk to me- I NEED you opinions/advice....
Yesterday morning around 11:00 AM I was just standing in my kitchen doing nothing and I felt a slight tug/pulling sensation in my lower, right, abodmen/pelvic region. It's not painful, but uncomfortable like a pull or tug of a muscle. It was intermittent but frequent yesterday so I pretty much just laid in bed taking it easy, hoping it would go away. It's still there this morning, though less frequent I think. No severe pain and/or cramps, no bleeding and/or spotting. Do you think this could just be natural "growing pains" of the baby and my uterus or something I should be concerned about.
Sorry to become such a frequent "issue poster", I'm a first timer and I seem to be freaking out about every little thing. It doesn't help right now that my doctor's office seems to care less....
Any advice or other's experiences would be greatly appreciated. :D
I wouldnt worry about it unless you start to get chills, a fever or have spotting/bleeding. I have had the same pains and the couple times I have talked to my doctor or doctor's nurse they reassured me that it was just Round Ligament Pain that I was experiencing. I am due March 9th with my first baby as well so I understand your concern! We dont really know what to expect since it is all new!
Yepp thats what i was gonna say was round ligament pain! Lol i even freaked out and went to the emergency room one time for it. Ur just prolly feeling the tugging becuase ur uterus is stretching out. Don't worry!!
I have had that feeling for weeks, and it's always scary... Let me know what the doc says!

Baby pulling on umbilical cord maybe?
Thanks ladies, I appreciate the input! The doctor's office FINALLY called me back. Unfortunately it's the doctor that I HATE (my regular dr. is out of the office and this other doctor threw me into 2 unesseccary panic attacks in my 4th and 5th weeks over nothing...) She did say she didn't feel it was anything to be worried about and sounded normal (but I just don't trust her like my regular doctor...) And advised me if it did become painful, symptoms changed, or there are any bleeding/spotting on call back or after hours go to the ER. So I guess I'll go with "everything is OK" until things change or get worse. Thanks again for your input
