at what age can kids usually draw a face?
Tonight before dinner, Nor was drawing on her magnadoodle and said she was going to draw my SO. SO calls me over, and shows me a face on the magnadoodle. I thought my SO drew it! (it was 2 small circles for eyes, a dot for a nose, and a mouth)
she quickly erased it. I asked her to draw another face, and she did! I screamed because I was so excited (and it scared Nor! lol).

Shes 30 months old. Is this normal?

Hmm, Im not exactly sure , but it seems like she's probably a little ahead of schedule on that!

Ive read that they start drawing recognizable things at about 3.
Ella will say she's drawing a person, which always starts as a circle and ONE time she made two tiny circles for eyes (not well places though! haha) and it semi resembled a face. She's 31 months.

And I know what you mean about being excited! She came to me and told me she drew an airplane and it kind of looked like one! I squealed. lmao
It was a long circle and it had a line out each side for wings!

Sounds about right, my daughter is 29 months and she started doing the same thing with faces and a sort of stick body and arms but no legs a month ago. She also painted our dog which to me looked like a brown blob but you could totally see his blue collar and LONG tail, lol It was actually really funny!
