hi! My name is Roxana and i recently started expierencing pelvic soreness and pressure for about a week and a half. im 30 weeks pregnant with my second child. my first was born at 32 weeks. The pain feels like i literally have been riding a bike all day and it hurts to sit or open my legs! and its worse in the mornings. Im very paranoid because i had a premature daughter and dialated without even knowing until i started bleeding. I just want to make sure that what im experiencing is normal of if i should call my doctor.

I'm also 30 weeks with my second and i have been experiencing pelvic pressure and pains also. i feel like i got punched or something and i also have been feeling short sharp pains in my vagina. i also did not know if it was normal or not but i looked it up on google and it said it is normal because the baby is growing bigger and pushing down on the pelvic area. It said as long as your not spotting or bleeding it should be ok but if you feel you should call then i would to be on the safe side.

Im 33 weeks and i feel the same thing. I never felt it with my daughter. Mine hurts so bad i cant roll over in bed anymore. All you can do is stick it out so long as you dont have signs of labor.

I'm 33 weeks with baby #2 and I've been feeling the same things for a few weeks! I never felt anything like this with my son. It hurts to roll over in bed, to get up in the mornings or after laying down for a while, and I often feel pressure in my pelvic area when I am standing. My doctor told me last week that it is likely just pressure from how the baby is sitting, but I don't think it's just that because it doesn't matter how she is sitting, it never changes how it feels. But as long as my pain isn't severe and I don't have any abnormal discharge I'm not going to worry overly much about it. I worry enough as it is!

Have any of you also noticed an increase in Braxton Hicks contractions since this pain started? I have been getting them a lot, and I don't remember getting a single one with my son. I know you're more likely to get them in subsequent pregnancies, but it's just weird to me that the pelvic pain/discomfort and pressure started when I started getting BH.

I dont think i have experienced braxton hicks but i have been feeling this pressure on my pelvic bone for a few days now and i dont know if i should be concerned. My daughter is kicking and moving just fine and the pain is not unbearable but it is uncomfortable and irritating.

Quoting Hello Mommy:" I'm 33 weeks with baby #2 and I've been feeling the same things for a few weeks! I never felt anything ... [snip!] ... pregnancies, but it's just weird to me that the pelvic pain/discomfort and pressure started when I started getting BH."

I have been having this pain in my pelvis since about 24 weeks or so.
I was getting freaked out about it and talked to my doctor about it.
Turns out its normal.
I don't recall having this pain with my first son at all.
But like they say, each pregnancy is different.

And YES !!!
I did notice that the braxton hicks contractions have gotten worse since this pelvic pain came along...
YIKES!
I have a couple of them during the day.
But they seem to get worse at nights when I'm laying down.
Oh well, can't complain though.. things could be worse, right??

Yeah, I'm getting up to 10-15 per day! I think I am getting them more in the evening and at night too. They're never painful, just uncomfortable and make it hard to breathe properly. I wonder if there is a connection between the pelvic pain/discomfort and the BH or if it's just a coincidence? I will have to ask my doctor next time I see him.
