Is it normal for your vagina to swell after a c-section. I had a c-section 3days ago and have notce that my vagina has gotten swollen. Its not painful or anything just puffy.

Also during my while pregnancy my feet were never swollen now all of sudden ther they chunk feet. When I was in the hosptal they said its normal but why would my feet swell after pregnancy and not during.

TIA

Yes it's all normal. The IV "liquids" are what's making you swell.

Dunno about the swelling in ur vag. but the reason ur feet and legs are swollen is because of the fluids they pumped into you. I was SOOOO swollen after I got out of the hospital...give it about a week and it will be back to normal! Congrats on your LO!

Yeah i was like a water balloon!!! I was so freaking swollen! Normal though! They pump you so freaking full of fluids it take a while for it to to filter through.

Yes it's very normal, like others said, it's the iv fluids they are (or were) pushing through you. Also your body is naturally going to swell wherever fluid settles, meaning if you are sitting or laying in bed then the fluids generally stop at your vagina region because it is the lowest point. If you are up and about for anytime at all, then your legs and feet will start to swell.

My labia did not swell . . . well not that I could tell anyways but my pubis mound did . . . i dubbed this my fupa. fat upper pussy area. With my first c section I was tethered to the bed forever so my fupa stuck out further than my stomach . . . this time I was up out of the bed so my legs and feet got huge. I noticed yesterday (a week and a half pp) that I could see my beautiful ankles again =)

Thanks, ts seems like none of the swelling started untl I started to become mobile.

The C-section was easy, its the recovery that is so painful. I have cried twice since I have been home because its painful. One of those times is when I showered. I think I might of been on my feet to long. But if I sit too long my body aches.
