What are some ways that help the baby drop into position? My baby is head down but she isn't actually dropped into position yet, and i would really like her to drop so i can start effacing and hopefully avoid having to be induced. Any tips or ideas would be great, thanks :)

Maybe the same things that help with labor? I don't know... I can look around on the sites I am part of for you, if you want.

I would say walk or whatever...but whats the point of getting tired doing something that only nature will take care of?

I don't obviously want labor to happen right now, i just want her to drop soon, because my doctor seemed concerned that she hadn't dropped yet, and she claimed that " i am young so i should be dropping soon and be able to go into labor on my own", meaning that i shouldn't have to be induced, but that i will be obviously if i don't happen to go into labor on my own, and that is all i'm trying to do is avoid being induced. I know that if the baby drops it doesn't mean labor is coming right away it will just help with getting my cervix more ready ? I'm just thinking i will end up being like my mom who was overdue with all 5 of her children and had to be induced. I will try the squatting and i have been walking literally everywhere. i live in the city and don't have a vehicle so i walk a lot, I know in the end labor will start when it's supposed to i just was seeing if there were ways i could help prepare my body for being ready for labor ahead of time so i won't have to be induced lol.
