lol i dont have that problem but I did have a tiny piece of skin on one of my nipples that was just kind of hanging there and I went to pick it off and it hurt like hell. I didn't get it but it has since fallen off (well I'm assuming because I haven't seen it in a few weeks) I guess just keep up with the lotion or try a different one?

Call your OB. and if you are nursing call them very soon. Maybe even call your pedi. Sounds like you may have a yeast infection on your breast. (totally normal and easy to fix). But if you are bf-ing, you can give your baby thresh from it. Thresh is a yeast infection in their mouth. Their tongue gets all coated white.

I had one with my now 8 yr old when she was two months and I ended up having to stop nursing because we kept giving back and forth to each other

Don't lotion. On the nipples, lotion usually makes them feel worse. Just clean and air dry them, and use vitamin E ointment or something similar. Lotion isn't great.

They give you a topical cream, and they recommend keeping them cool and dry. A VERY good excuse to go bra-less for a few days. LOL I could be wrong, so you should call your OB

Hey...I just spoke with my OB about this, she attributes this to hormones and possibly preparing to be able to breastfeed...she said not to be concerned, and not to pick at it.

My nipples itched so badly to a point where itching them became sooo painful even when I only rubbed them vigorously with a shirt.. must've been the friction. I have like.. verrrrrrry little peeling.. only on one n****e (but both are itchy and look the same), but if I just give them a rub now and then and use baby lotion.. it seems to be all good. I do feel like picking at it sometimes cause it's just so taunting!!! Oh, well. It probably really is all hormones :)

Being pregnant is craaaaazy for me.
