DD is 2 years old and will be just over 2 1/2 when the new baby is born and I'm wondering if any of you ladies have ideas for how to prepare her for the new LO?? She has a baby doll that she carrys around and rocks and snuggles with and stuff like that and we show her pictures of babies and talk about how cute and nice they are etc. She doesn't go to daycare or anything since I'm a SAHM but she is around other kids on occasion, most of them are her age though. I'm planning on taking her to see my friend's baby when it's born and she likes to carry around my only U/S picture I have saying "baby, baby" Any other ideas??? Thanks ladies!!

at the hospital by me they offer big sister/brother classes. I remember taking one and I'm going to sign my son up. They just have them change baby doll diapers and stuff and at the end they get a pin that says theyre ready to be a big sister/brother

I wanted to do this for both of my kids. DD will be 3 once the baby is born and DS will turn 2 a few months after the baby is born.
Our hospital offers a sibling class but the age restriction is 3. DD will be wonderful but I wish there was something I could do for DS to help get him ready.
He's a tad bit violent with kids smaller than him :(
