Is it possible to have a labor that is to short? I know you can have a to long labor but I am curious about the other way around?
Yes. They will slow you down by placing a cork in your gyner.
Yep! That is why babies are born in cars!
yes. sometimes babies come out really quickly and it creates trauma.
and they don't get all squeezed like they should. lmao.
Yeah... my midwife told me she had one woman who had a labor in 40 min start to finish. She barely made it to catch the baby. My mom had my little brother in 2 1/2 hours.
Never thought of it before...
My mom had me in 1 1/2 hours.
my 7th son. i was at teh hospital for 11mins til i had him.
Quoting Eliana and Alice's mommy:
My longest labor was 4 hours and my shortest was abt 1 hour and a half... My other daughter was born in 2 hours and 39 minutes... I'm sure labors can be dangerously fast.
had this convo with a friend on fb today. she labored with her 3rd for 11 mins. she went to a doc appt and the doc was like you are 8cm dialated. walked her over to L&D and broke her water, and delivered her baby.
Yeah, I'm sure--if it's back labor and/or very intense. If labor were condensed into too small a timeframe, I'd come out of it feeling like I'd been run over by a bus. I liked that my labor was 8 hours. I could deal with 3 or 4 hours.
