The poops are loose but not watery, mucusy or green. My husband and I are disagreeing over this.I think everything is fine so far,but he wants me to quit BFing and just FF from now on.

Quoting smished EBF:" My almost 4 month old is pooping about 1 to 4 times a day.She is EBF.Her pediatrician says she has diarrhea ... [snip!] ... How many poops are too much for a EBF baby? Does pooping more then once mean diarrhea? Any advice is appreciated, thanks! :)"

what nonsense! as long as baby is EBF, all their poops will be liquid. I mean, think about it, breastmilk is liquid, so if what goes in is liquid, what comes out will be liquid. and they can poop as much as they want. It's totally normal.

if you want to BF, continue to BF. it's the best thing for your baby. Formula will just screw things up. Don't use it unless you HAVE to.

Help!
I noticed last night my supply is suffering because I'm taking Claritin for my allergies. I know that the loratadine CAN affect my BM and in my case it has but my allergies are HORRIBLE. What can I do? I heard local honey helps which I'll try to find/buy today..but I'd like to hear other options as well. My DS is 18 months and he's not ready to wean yet and quite honestly I'm not either </3

Quoting Natalie & Nolan{EBF}:" Can you talk to your doctor about nasal allergy meds? They don't absorb as much into the bloodstream. ... [snip!] ... but make sure it's RAW honey. Having the honey comb in it is even better. Are you taking straight Claritin or Claritin-D?"

My allergies is mainly my eyes swelling and nose runing.
I believe I have Claritin not Claritin-D. I was prescribed it back when I was pregnant and never took it.

My son does the same thing, and now that his bottom two teeth are coming in, it tends 2 be sorta painful... I regularly tell my husband that my son has the attention span of a goldfish, lol!! :?Quoting krista+2:" My son is a champ at brestfeeding except for the fact that I wish He would open his mouth wider to feed. ... [snip!] ... while he was eating which is annoying because he will start laughing or he tries turning his head while he is attatched."

Hey ladies! I have a question and didn't want to make a new topic!

I am pregnant with my third baby and I plan to try to breastfeed. I've never breastfed before! Being on a budget and being one of those lists and planning types, I want to know what kind of things I'll need in the first few months of breastfeeding.
What couldn't you live without or what made your life easier?
