on the coffee table! She tripped on my husbands over night bag and just went WHAM hard into the coffee table.. Her daddy ran over and picked her up and ran into the kitchen to get some ice. So I ran after them and as soon as I saw the blood and that it was all swollen up I immediately started bawling... harder then she was. My husband was going back in forth comforting us.
I wish I didn't have that reaction when she gets hurt because it upsets her even more to see that I'm upset. I need to work on that :?
I suppose I'm not the only one who gets upset when their children get hurt, but it was just a busted lip and I feel a little silly now since she is running around and playing like nothing ever happened
Aw poor baby :(. I know what you mean though, I've worked on trying not to let her see me flip out because it's easier to care for her boo boo and she calms down faster. It's difficult though lol.
nope!!! chandler busted his face off the gate by the stairs and made him bleed and i FREAKED!!! then he tripped over his own feet and hit his mouth on the floor and started bleeding again!!! i was like bawling. :(
i know how it is... i have a klutzy child with big teeth.. .she busts her lips all the time..
especially during summer.. she actually chipped her toooth this year! i know the feeling but dont freak out.. they bleed alot too...
I use to get so upset when she got hurt now she hurts herself so much I have to be the tough one lol. My daughter fell off the bed the other night and hit her mouth on our night stand and busted her lip I felt so bad.
I get upset when Zoe gets hurt. She's never bled tho, when that day comes, I'm sure I will freak out!
OMG, my son has literally busted a lip at least half a dozen times in his life, probably more. He has always been a face-faller, lol.
Yes, definitely work on your reaction--but if you're not used to her getting hurt I can certainly see where it came from. <3 It's never easy when they cry!
