So I've been told that exercising helps dilation. I'm in no rush..although, I'm 38 weeks and 2-3 cm dilated, 80% effaced. She'll come whenever she's ready.
But I was having a conversation with someone, and they told me I should consider using my exercise bike to dilate. It got me thinking..could that possibly help?
This may sound dumb, but I know stuff like walking and such may help dilation. But I don't see a bike doing anything for it. Maybe a good leg workout but that's about it. I guess because your sitting down..? I have no clue.
So my question is what exercises did you ladies do to help dilate, if any? Also, do you think the bike would help dilation?

I started walking 3 miles a day at 38 weeks I wnt into labor at 38weeks and 6 days and had him at 39 weeks exactly
I don't see how a bike would do it. But you could walk and stuff.
Or just wait, that always works. haha.
Yeah I tried everything with my daughter to get her out, I had pre term labor at just before 36 weeks and it went til she made her appearance at 4 days before her due date, and when i said I tried everything I mean it. Only thing I wouldn't was the Casteroil. Yuck no way but yeah you can try stuff but no matter what baby will come when they are ready. When they say relax and enjoy the time you have before baby it's a good idea because if you don't you'll just exhaust yourself, I did and I wish I hadn't trying everything but once she came it was fast so it was no big deal. Thanks ladies! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks a bike won't help. I felt a bit dumb. But I'm honestly in no rush to get her out. I'm going to miss being pregnant so bad, it seriously makes me so sad. And I feel terrible because of course I want to meet her!
On monday I was just at 3 cm...had my membranes swept...spent the past couple days doing sets of squats here and there and efffortless jumping jacks if that makes sense annnd this morning i was a little over 4 cm
