Ok so ainsley is 1 month old, she starting getting a slight rash i thought it was heat rash, so i have been keeping her cool not over dressing her but it seems to be getting worse.

its on her ears( which i think is the beginning of cradle cap) chest back arms face. I am going to take her to the doctor but just wanted some opinions.
the dark red is her birthmark.

Looks like heat rash to me. Put some corn starch on it. If it is heat rash it should go away within a day or two. You should notice a difference by the morning with the corn starch.

I dont know how warm it is where you are but my LO was born and then came a heat wave. We used to put her in a wet onesie and it cleared up in a day... mind you it was not tht bad

my baby had gotten it to when she was little but it wasnt that bad..the dc told me it is a rash could be from laundry soap or bath soap. Some babies are very sensitive even to baby soap

I would take her to the Dr. I don't mess around with allergic reactions. and none of us are Dr's ( well some might be, sorry)
It looks like she is allergic to something.
She could be allgeric to the soap you use. Or a pet, or dust or it could be a simple heat rash, but it doens't look like a heat rash.
corn startch and water paste might help. I dont' think you can give her anything really for it becasue she is too little
Poor thing. Good luck to ya.

I understnad.
I had something JUST like what you baby has two years ago. It started with a bump on my belly, then my ears itched. By the time i got home 10 min later i was COVERED in those bumps. I looked like someone threw oil on me. i had to dose up on benadryl and take a cool shower with baby soap. OMG I was up all night itching and crying. lol I was crying out of fear, not pain. but I didn't have insurance so I didn't go tot he dr. Turns out my friends loser ex gf got soemthign out of her storage and a dust mite or the dust from her crap set off my allergic reaction. My dh wanted to kill her.
