Quoting Brooklyns ♥ Mommy:" Then if she threatens or tries to harm YOU, call the cops? IDK, I'm one of those people who won't sit ... [snip!] ... "broken puppy" syndrome. I want to fix everything for everyone, and I have no problem putting myself in harm's way to do it. "

For example:

We have a neighbor that lets his dogs roam FREELY. They aren't fixed OR tagged  And they ALWAYS rile our dogs up by coming up to the fence and shit. They pretty much are pains in the ass.

But if we called to have them picked up, he would know it was us. And he isn't too stable. I would be scared to think of what he would do :? Like harming our dogs, or letting them out...he is crazy.

No. And I can understand that.

It's just not where my brain jumps to. So when I see something like that, I immediately think "Fuck the mother, she's not gonna do anything if her ass is in prison" Ya know?

But it also takes a lot to intimidate me. I am a trained FMMA fighter and own a few guns myself. 8)

I do completely understand where everyone is coming from.
And actually, thank you for playing devil's advocate here, because I was unusually riled up about this one.

But like I just said,
I feel confident in my ability to take care of my home/self/family, so my "go-to" thought is that everyone should.
I'm kind of a shoot, then find cover, kind of girl.

Because that is safe. For yourself, and everyone around you.

Hehehe its okay.

If I constantly heard kids screaming, I would go over and ask if everything was okay. If she said the kids were misbehaving, I would probably offer to have them come play at my house.

Who knows, maybe the kids are terrorists and the woman just needs a break.

I wish you lived next to me.
I'd totally send my demons to your house.

It was an analogy.

And speaking literally, I have had to use my weapon to protect myself before.
All I was saying is that some neighbor who tells me "I have guns" isn't going to stop me from calling the cops if I think her kids are being beaten, KWIM?

But like I've said before, that's just MY thought process on it. I got riled up by the whole situation and didn't think "maybe she doesn't feel she can properly protect her child if this woman were to actually come after her".....I just immediately jumped to "do something".

Yeah.
Just a bad mixture about the whole thing.
She made it sound horrible, and I immediately jumped up her ass for not doing anything.
I knew I should've waited a few more minutes.
But she hadn't replied to anything for a page or two. Just I brought it here.
