Can a baby kick TOO much? DownWithMorons 1 child; Tauranga, New Zealand 5516 posts

My little man has been kicking so much over the past 3 days. I had a couple of days with barely no movement, then the last 3 have been like non stop movement from the time I wake up till the time I go to sleep. The movements vary in intensity, but I am always feeling some form of movement in there, whether its light kicks, squirms, or hard boots...... Im wondering if there is such a thing as too much movement?

I don't believe there is a thing as far as too much movement, my DD was very active inside me however I have heard of doctors say if you feel like panic, frantic episodes that are really unusual for your baby to give them a call.

This happened to my close friend and it ended up being his cord was wrapped around his neck.

Dont think I have felt anything like that. I occasionally get like big squirms or double kicks or something but nothing that seems like hes struggling. So thats a bonus!

A big bonus! As your pregnancy gets further along you will learn your babies norm, it will become second nature feeling them at certain times etc.

I miss that sooo much :(

Seriously, it's crazy. When I was like 6-7 months pregnant you could see a whole leg and he just wouldn't stop, he kicked through my belly, into my SIL's belly, whose son kicked back because he could feel Anthony kicking all the way from in another belly! haha. And Anthony is still the same way with his cousin now, always jumping all over him. He's dancing right now even though hes so sick :)
