HELP! He just pooped and it was SOOO liquidy that it squirted out the side of his diaper! It's his first poop since we left the hospital on Sunday and now I'm worried. He has an appointment in the morning, but I wnat to know what you all think for right now. He's had a little formula, but mostly Nothing but breast milk. Maybe the formula upset his stomach?? Or maybe my meds...:? He didn't fuss once while I changed his diaper, he doesn't seem upset or anything. He's happy and content. I'm about to take his temp.
EDIT: temp was 97.9
Pictures removed because peiople are dumbfucks.
CJ had a poop simliar to that this morning, but it's from his formula. He's on Nutramigen and it makes then have very loose, liquidy stools. I would just recommend bringing up at his appointment in the morning. There's not much you from now until then.
I looked just because you said there were pictures... I'm horrible.
I think it might be a bit normal... I mean he's been eating as he should and it could just be that its because of your breastmilk... His system probably isn't used to it and formula... since its been a few days he may have just had build up.
I think if there is no temp you're okay... and so is he.
Gavyn would have poop like that when I drank caffeine! He doesn't anymore, but when he was a newborn he would.
Breastfed babies poo tends to look like that.. And sometimes what you eat can affect like Gina said.
Oh man.. lol, you should totally save these pictures for when he's older. And definitely show them to his girlfriends !!
Thats what Kaden's looked like when I BF.
Gotta love blowouts!
Thats what breastfed babies diapers look like. I think it is normal!!
Ah, okay, I'm feeling a little better, but still a bit uneasy. >__<
Aleighas diapers look like that all the time, just more mustardy. I'm such a nerd but it makes me so happy everytime I change her diaper and see her yellow poop. :D
My daughter had diapers like this and had them about 10-15 times a day! She also was throwing up (accross the room!) I started out breast feeding her and the doctor made me change over to formula to see if it helped (it didn't!) So then they made me switch between lactose free formulas and soy free formulas (didn't work.) So they ran tests, put her in the hospital and every thing.... This went on for MONTHS! Finally they tried to tell me she had systic fibrosis and she wouldn't live past the age of 16! I cried my eyes out! Then I was talking to a friend of mine with twins about it and she told me her kids had bad stomach problems and they finally realized they were lactose tolerant and also soy tolerant. So they switched them to a formula which was lactose and soy free. So I tried it and guess what? With in 2 hours my baby girl was fine! All it was is she was allergic to lactose and soy!!!
