I slipped this morning on the ice and fell on my side I think. I don't really know, cuz I was more worried about keeping my daughter from falling. I know I twisted my ankle. I called nurse and she said to moniter baby movements, any spotting, or pain I might have. I've had no spotting, but I feel like i have a bruise on my belly (it aches) and my back is achy too, but that could be from falling. And I hav felt less movements. I called my docs nurse again, and got the voicemail cuz shes at lunch. My question is, shud i wait for her to call back, or jus go into er? I just want to know that baby is ok!

My mom fell 2 stories off of a front porch when she was pregnant with me.

Her doctor said that far along she had so much padding around the baby that I was fine.

If you are really really worried just go into the ER

Unless you feel odd at all, I wouldn't worry. My mom fell down a hill after she fell off her bike while she was pregnant with me... 3rd trimester, too! My mom's an OG, though.

I would go in if I were you just to be safe. I fell last week at 36 weeks and wasn't sure how I landed either. They will probably just monitor the baby and might give you an ultrasound also.
