So i am 35 weeks pregnant and as of this last week i noticed ive been blooming in alot more stretch marks..which is a given considering ive already been getting them..but this time idk they kindof feel a little raised and irritated a little bit like theyre bruised or something haha.
i had an ultrasound yesterday and the tech was pressing a bit hard with the tool..could the soreness just be from that? its below my belly button where she was doing it and thats where i feel the tenderness..i believe i noticed i started to notice it yesterday after the ultrasound and today for sure.
also i have had the raised stretch marks for like half a week or so,so i dont think theyre from the sonogram
my questions are:is it normal to have raised more defined stretch marks?
annd do you think the amount of pressure the ultrasound tech was putting on my lower stomach is causing the tenderness?

I was sore from a few of my ultrasounds.

I could show you a picture of my stretch marks, and I bet I could make you feel better about yours (: lol. Mine are so embarrassing.

OMG! That's unbelievable. My stomach is the same way!! I've never seen someone with stretch marks as bad as mine :/ That's kindof amazing lol.
Have you tried anything for yours?

everythign.
in the last 3 months of pregnancy the only thing that would help with the itching was baby oil gel. they sucked so bad.
they are slowly starting to fade. they arent as purple but they are still jsut as bad.

I used the oil a whole lot too. It's amazing how it took care of the itching. I tried the cocoa butter, never worked. I tried Mederma for a little while, but I didn't use it long enough to give it a chance to work. Now I'm using a stretch mark cream from Avon, but haven't been using it long enough for it to work either...

Jojoba oil has been helping me keep mine light, it also helps with the itch of them too. Mine are very painful from time to time, but it's normally because my maternity pants rub on them bad. :/

i hear you on that pants rubbing them! i havent worn jeans in like weeeks lol i went out and bought stretchy sweat pants and have been wearing a pair every day because the band on the jeans were making me feel so tight in the tummy area.

i've just completely stopped wearing my maternity jeans. i'm wearing my work out shorts aha. i'm suprised they still fit since they were before the pregnancy, but i've got so many that i may as well use them. i have to keep everything under my belly now. i've got a stretch mark that is right under my panty line going up and just right above my pants line, and it's always hurting regardless of what i'm wearing. atleast its only that one instead of the bazillion other ones xD

yikkkkes yeah comfy pants are the best bet for the end of pregnancy for sure lol i wish it was summer tho only for the fact that dresses are so cute on pregnant tummys!
i hear you on that one too!i actually have the same problem lol the ones that get hit by the pant line sucks..and there is no avoid that except wearing underwear and pants that are big on you haha so they dont cut into the stretchies
