Is it even possible to feel contractions in your butt? My stomach gets tight, I feel pain in my lower belly, and then it shots to my butt. Am I just going crazy?

Nope not crazy. That is what happens. It is your babies head pushing on your butt.

I had the same thing, but that was after I was in labor & the epidural wore off. They said that I was close to having her, but she didn't want to come down.. Or I wouldn't open, so then I guess I was just having contractions in my butt for nothin' lmao.

Nope, you're not crazy. Once your in labor and you are fully dilated, you will feel a lot of pressure or pain in your butt when its time to push. At least that how its been for me. I felt pressure during my epidural birth and pain during the natural birth.

Yeah that's why I was't sure if I was going crazy. I've already gone twice today too.

How often are you contracting?

Not often enough! :x I just stopped taking the Procradia since I started dilating at 32 weeks. I can just feel some tightening in my stomach now and a backache.

Time them. So you have been having preterm labor issues? Are you dilated at all?

Yeah I've been timing them. I had to write down any contractions I had. I had some bloody show at 32 weeks. Then I was close to 2cm and 50% effeced. It hasn't changed yet but I'm guessing that's just because of the medication.

Use this site, it is amazing. :) http://contractionmaster.com/

I am also 2cm dilated. But you want to go to at least 37 weeks!! So make sure you are super hydrated and getting enough sleep. :)

Awesome! I never felt any contractions with my daughter. I was sent to the hostipal at 36 weeks for pre-e. They went to soften my cervix and they were like no need your already 4cm. I was like there is no way. I've been trying to drink more water but sometimes it's so hard. I've gotten better though since I've been doing it for so long. I had 2 steriod shots at 32 weeks also so that should help tons.
