Toddler pooping straight water/juice... FastAss, The Virgin 42123 posts

Please help.

I need to know if anyone has ever experienced their toddler pooping straight water or juice or liquid. Like say he is drinking grape pedialyte all day long. Then all of a sudden you see his diaper is leaking purple water. You've seen him actually do this with his diaper off. It's literally just coming out like a faucet.

He has been peeing also. And no more vomitting. Still has no fever.

What the f**k, guys. Help.

Well its purple because the pedialyte was purple.

Not to be totally disgusting, but does his diarrhea have an awful smell to it?

Sounds like that damn stomach virus my kiddos get once or twice a year, the water faucet poop normally stays a bit longer then the fever and vomiting.. As long as your child is drinking all day then that is really all that can me done.. And, if your child is peeing then that is a great sign.. Let them go ahead and continue to flush the virus from their system it might be another day or two ..

Not really. I got him to eat a few potatoe chips yesterday. Some applesauce. Random things.

Mmmm it stinks? Ha. You know when you gut a pumpkin to make a jack-o-lantern? The orange stringy stuff? It has some of that looking stuff in it.

ohhh yea if it has that awful smell or if it did then it was that one stomach virus.. rota virus I believe??? You can use some of the lysol mop stuff to get rid of it throughout the house, I always do a major house clean up after my kids have gotten that virus. It's very contagious. It left me in the bed last year for 6 days straight, I thought I was going to die. lol

yes ma'am.. It's HORRID!!! My kids get it at least once a year from daycare. I will never forget what I went through last year when I had it, I couldn't move unless I needed to throw up or crap my guts out (TMI lol) , I was in bed 6 days straight and didn't want to drink or eat anything.. I don't think I have ever felt that horrible in my life. I was home alone taking care of the 3 little ones, I had to have my mother in law come and feed the kiddos and give them baths, the rest of the time they chilled in the room with me and watched movies, thank goodness.

And he won't eat anything of substance. Not even a banana. And he loves bananas. He will take one bite of just about anything. Rice, fruit, toast. But only one bite. Then he doesn't want anymore at all.

My kids had it one time. And its not like they had it all at once either. One had it and got over it and passed it on. (I have 4 kids) I spent a month bleaching my house every other day. It was the worst experience ever.

My daughter had something like this when she was younger. Scared the piss out of me. Basically I was told as long as she was drinking something and peeing, she would be okay. But to try and feed her things like dry toast, banana, dry cereal. Something bland that won't upset her tummy.
