Bad diaper rash Taryn - Anya's mommy 2 kids; 1 angel baby; Toronto, Ontario 49462 posts

Last time I changed her diaper, which was only a couple minutes ago, Anya had a very red looking diaper rash, she didn't want me touching it or anything, so I know it really hurts. I put some cream on it, well she just came in here where I am, holding her diaper area and crying. Is there anything I can give her that will help it? Like could I give her some tylenol, will that help with the pain of it? I feel so bad for her, I have no idea how it got so bad. She was fine her last diaper change.

I know, I feel so bad, she barely ever gets diaper rashes, and usually when she gets them, one coating of diaper rash cream and its gone by the next diaper change.

Corn starch and ibuprofen.

An NSAID would would better than Tylenol since diaper rash is an inflammation.

hmmm wonder if I have any ibuprofen, I think I do, I know I have it in pill form, but that won't help much, lol.

Thanks!

That's good. All I can tell you is to try to keep the diaper off her butt for a lil while. It will air out and the rash could dry out a lil. Do you think you should get some yeast infection cream? That could be what's wrong with her.

I actually have some yeast infection cream left over from the last time she had it.
