I am having a boy in August, looking for some feedback on the name Kiedis. Also, if I choose this not sure how to spell it, Kiedis, Keidis, Kedis, Keydis....

As in Anthony Keidis from the Red hot Chile Peppers?

Ok... first time I heard the name was from Anthony Kiedis, and yes, I am a RHCP fan... but that is totally not the reason I like the name. I like it because it its unique but i don't think it sounds too wierd... I mean it sounds better than 'apple' or some of the other wierd ones out there! lol Plus myself and the father have unique names as well, and the last name is greek.

I work at a preschool & there is a lil boy named Kiedis here (I think this is how he spells it) I like the name and to me it's not one that will be mispronounced TOO often...

Well dont feel bad momma cause I have gotten a lot of flack from family and friends about the boy name we picked out. Roderick is what we are going with. It is Scottish and means second son. This will be my bf and mine second son so was fitting. People just have a hard time grasping it. We live in a small rural town in MO and they are not used to unusual names here. Good luck and I like the name.

AAAH!! That's epic! I'm due in January and I've been contemplating the same name (if I have a boy, of course). I say go for it! I'd even keep the same spelling. It is very unique and I think your kid is going to love it (especially when they tell all their friends they have the same name as an awesome rockstar). Haha I am biased, though, in that I love love LOVE the name.

What is the middle name? That's always a name maker or breaker :)
