Morning sickness after a miscarriage Michelle Von Frankenstein 17 kids; Palm Springs, California 10493 posts

I wasnt sure if this should be posted in S&L or here but I think its more appropriate in PI.

If a woman was to miscarry would she still be getting morning sickness after the M/C or does that show the pregnancy could still be successful? I understand a woman is able to test positive for about 2 weeks after im just not sure about the morning sickness.

& no this is not about me

It's when your body has a miscarriage but doesn't give you any signs like bleeding/cramping..atleast thats how it worked out for me. I didn't find out until I went for my 12 week ultrasound that the baby had passed at 7 weeks.

It took 6 weeks for my levels to go back to negative, and I was only 5 w 6 d when I m/c.
I started getting a little ms and other preg symptoms after I lost the baby. I actually gave birth to the baby and held it, so I knew I lost it, but got my regular pregnancy uti, headaches and ms the week after.

I'm so sorry for your friends loss. I don't wish that hell on anyone

My morning sickness didn't kick in till I had already started bleeding and was in the middle of my miscarriage and lasted for a few days after. I usually don't get m/s till around 7 weeks and that's exactly when I miscarried.

your body still has the hormones, but usually by 2 weeks everything should be normal..........and just and FYI- morning sickness doesnt mean the the pregnancy is or will be successful!
