How do you eat it?

Is it like lettuce and should be eaten raw in a salad?
Is it like squash and you need to cook it first?
Is it like a carrot and can go either way?

Thanks!

You can boil it, or steam it.
It's kind of tough, so it's not that great in salads.

Thanks ladies....I found recipes for kale online, but I couldn't gather if that meant the only way to eat it was cooked or not! :)

At least I didn't try biting into it raw yet...haha!

It's a cooked, smoked sausage. It can be made with beef, but we eat the turkey kind. Look for it at the grocery store where they sell cold cuts or hot dogs.
