I dont even know what it is for, so no I dont think you need one. They have so much crap now for babies/kids! We like to keep it simple! :)

It got in the way when we were BFing, but we used it for tummy time. Wouldn't have bought it though, was a gift.

lol I called mine a Boppy Pillow. It made breastfeeding more comfortable for me.. helped with my back. :)
plus he used it sometimes for tummy time or just to lay in.
