it could be the adhesive

I have sensitivities to adhesives.....specifically the ones from the heart monitor electrodes, lol

Your allergic to the bandaid. My dad had this exact same problem and the doc said he was allergic to em. You can always try a diff kind of bandaid and see if it makes you break out or not. Took forever but my dad found one he wasnt allergic to.
Edit
He was allergic to the glue on the bandaid.

Allergy to the glue they put on the bandaids to make them stick.
My oldest daughter and I both break out terribly wherever the bandaid sticks to us at.....any time I remove a bandaid, I have a rash in the exact same shape and form of a bandaid!

well ive used them before, even in the same spot. i was kind of thinking it was from leaving it on so long... i guess it could be an allergy though.

ive never had an allergy to anything like this, what should i do about it?

You can develop an allergy at any time in your life!
Wash it good with soap and water and let it air dry. Maybe apply some anti-rash cream.

yeah but ive had bandaids over this same spot for like 2 weeks(the same ones) and it just happened now when i left it on too long thats why i was thinking it was just from having my skin covered for too long or something lol

oh well those bandages are going in the trash.

That could be the reason for the rash as well, because you left it on too long!
They have bandaids for sensitive skin!

I had the same problem. I've been using Band-Aids my entire life. I had surgery last April and they taped my eyes closed using....I think it was paper tape since that's generally better for sensitive skin. My eyes broke out so bad. I had huge blisters and couldn't open my eyes all the way. Last summer I had blood drawn and they put a cotton ball on then held it there with a Band-Aid. When I took it off it looked like the skin was REALLY dry. It was all flaky and gross. I put some lotion on but it didn't help. I got sunburned at the beach the next day and the two spots where adhesive was on my skin didn't burn You could clearly see the shape of a Band-Aid. It was really weird. The next time I used a Band-Aid it got really itchy and red so it seems like it's getting worse :( IDK what I'm supposed to do if I can't use tape or Band-Aids. :(

You actually have to be inrroduced to an allergen before it becomes an allergen. So it's very possible you were fine before and developed an allergy.
