How to get charcoal off my wall! Heather12398 1 child; New York 4174 posts

We had our nieces over for the night over the weekend. We had a fire with smores, they had a great time! However, one of them got charcoal from their hands on to my freshly painted walls (literally just spent 1400 to get our whole upstairs painted ugh!)....how should I get it off? I've thought of an eraser and a magic eraser but it's flat paint so i think it will rub off the paint with it...HELP!

Thanks ladies!

Quoting WeenieMachine:" Goo Gone or Goof Off."

Really? I have that Goo Gone just figured that would make a oily mark on the wall instead

I would try plain soap & water first. But if that doesn't work, maybe try Mr Clean Magic Eraser?
