I am very stressed about this. Last night I was laying in bed thinking how I don't feel right. And then I realize that I haven't felt the baby move all day. I understand that babies have sleeping cycles right now but I know how my baby is. She reacts in some way to everything I do.
And I remembered that I've been feeling less and less of her in the days prior.
I never did kick counts because she used to move so much that honestly I knew there was nothing wrong with her.
I tried orange juice, food, everything you're supposed to do to make them move. (I also remember being INCREDIBLY swollen in my feet last night, more than usual, but I don't know if this is related).
But I woke up this morning 2 hours after I fell asleep to go pee and when I was walking, I felt wrong again. I started getting really upset and woke up my husband. I know I have an appointment in about an hour but I couldn't wait anymore and I know there is something out of the usual. (Also, my face is terribly swollen this morning, but not my hands or my feet. I've had preeclampsia signs but my blood pressure was always normal and there was never any protein in my urine).
My husband said he "heard her heartbeat" but I think he just said that to calm me down. He agrees that it's unusual how she's not responding.

What could be happening?
What will a doctor do to me if there is something wrong with her if she is alive?
Thank you in advance.

I also keep getting contractions every 10 minutes or so, but I think they're BH because they're painless and I barely notice them. I think I've been having these for days. I don't know..

They will probably send you for a NST and see if everything is ok.
And check her heart rate with the doppler

it can be usual for you not to feel anything at this time, and like you say, your so used to her moving you dont realise when she is or isnt. Doc will obvs check you over, check for heartbeat, if its there then you might have a scan to check everythings ok etc. Then they will prob decide from there to see what the best action is, you may have to be induced. Its a waiting game unfortunately hun, it aint nice i know. Good luck with everything, hope it goes ok for you x

I would either call or go in right away. They said it's normal for movement to decrease at this time, but it shouldn't go away. They said if I didnt feel movement in a 2 hour timeframe to call or go in.

I know I haven't felt her in over 24 hours and decreased movement in the days leading up. I just don't think she was sleeping for over 24 hours.
I feel like I might be too late. But I'm probably over reacting because I am so upset right now.

I know it's hard but try and stay calm and get a hold of your doc! Good luck, mama. Hope everything is okay.<3

i am 37 weeks tomorrow and at my appointment yesterday they told me if the baby stops moving all together then i had to go straight to the hospital,i have other issues as well but i think if you have not felt the baby move for a whole day you need to call the doctor or hospital and speak to them. maybe even go in. i would not leave anything to chance. i hope all is fine with your baby. good luck

Definitely call your doc or go into L&D. They will probably do a NST and/or a ultrasound (biophysical profile). In the event that something is wrong, they will likely induce you/deliver the baby since you are farther along in your pregnancy. Much luch to you and your little baby.

Last week I was admitted for early labor, and I was told that at what is normally my baby's most active time of day to drink a large glass of icy water, lay on my left side, and do a kick count. If I didn't feel at least 10 kicks within a 2 hour time period to come back in asap. I would try that and see what happens. If you still aren't feeling anything go to L and D. Better to be safe that sorry and worried.

If you are not in pain, there is no bleeding ect then there most likely isnt anything to worry about. Baby has less room to move now because she is squished up in there and was probably moving when you were sleeping. I got worried the other day and they put me on a monitor and baby was actually moving so much but I just couldnt feel it. Stress is bad, relax.

I would go in to L&D if its closer and you can get there before your doc app. If they find something wrong they will want to do a c-sec immediately. The same thing happened to me and they knocked me out right away and got him out. Please let us know how everything goes :)

Anytime there is a decrease in movement, you should contact your doctor and go in immediately. If there's ever a question, better to get it checked out than think about it. You should still be able to get the baby to move at 37 weeks...

I hope she went in, I'm worried for her! The same thing happened to me at about the same time!

Hope everything is ok. definitely get it checked out but also try not to worry, easier said than done I bet.
My baby's kicks have decreased but I still feel the squirmy movements regularly. I'm pretty sure baby will be there, heart beating away nicely when they use the doppler. Maybe your baby is just having one big old rest before she decides to come out early.
Let us know as soon as you can Mama.
Thinking of you.
