Gestational sac too low? MonicaL. 35 kids; Pooler, Georgia 11 posts

I just had my first u/s and the tech showed me that the baby is positioned very low in my uterus and it's also very close to my cervix. I'm very concerned about this but my doctor doesn't seem concerned at all! However, the u/s tech was concerned enough to leave the probe in my va***jay to go out and find the doctor who BTW was at the hospital delivering a baby so we had to wait over an hour just to be told that there's no cause for concern but to come back in 2 weeks for another u/s.
Has anyone had this problem? Should I be worried?

When I was 12 weeks my baby was literally laying on my cervix. It freaked me out.. ultrasound lady says its fine, that's just where the egg attached, and once the baby gets really moving, they won't stay for long.

Quoting Weinus Badger:" so you sat there with a probe up your vag for an hour?"

LOL...no it was only like 5 min. After that they put me in a room to wait for the doctor which took over an hour.
