I ADORE Gwendolen, though I prefer this spelling - either one wors fine, i think it's beautiful.

Quoting HopingforaMiracle:" So you are naming your daughter Kenleigh but hate the spelling Nikolas because it is an old fashioned name and it should be spelled the old fashioned way..."

I know right? Isn't Nikolas a legit spelling? According to behindthenames it is.

That's what I thought. You know I'm one of the biggest critics for names that are misspelled but not when they are legit spellings like Nikolas

Same here. A lot of the times, I even prefer the ethnic spelling over the Americanized versions - like Roksana vs. Roxana, that kind of thing.

What do you guys think of these names?:

Persephone
Seraphina
Aurelia
Filomena
Wilhelmina
Lucille
Elowen
Juliette
Leocadia
Evadne
Sophronia

There is someone on here that named their daughter a name that is starting to grow on me. But I feel like I would be stealing it even though I don't even really know them.

Beautiful names. Seraphina, Aurelia, Lucille and Elowen are my favorites.

If you don't know her very well, I wouldn't worry too much.

She is actually in this thread. I have only talked to her a couple times. Most of those names have been on my list for a while but I just added Leocadia, Evadne, and Sophronia.
