Quoting Bunny Belly:" Just wanting to add, I'm loving the ambition you two have. It's going to be awesome for your kids to see you all wanting and working for so much out of life!"

Aww, thank you! We're just weird and like to learn, if I had the money to just continually go to school, I totally would - I will need to settle for teaching, though, I don't have the income to be a career student.

Quoting Mrs. God of Thunder:" I couldn't either. I kinda see it more as a pet name for a dog, kinda like with Cooper."

I'm bent on naming my next male pit "Carter". Love the name, could never commit to it on a human child. Lol

I don't think it's weird, it's awesome! And, you can always learn whilst teaching, right? :D

Also, sorry for spamming the eff out of you guys, heh.

Your fine! And your right - I am pretty positive that teaching at the university level would also mean I get free tuition in a lot of cases/

No. He was exactly 6 months so we introduced solids and did a weight check 2 weeks later and he had gained over a pound. My husband has a crazy high metabolism, like he eats 3/4 of an 11x13" pan of lasagna for dinner, but he will only eat like a granola or cliff bar or yogurt the rest of the day, but grazes after dinner. I eat a lot of high calorie crap and can maintain a 15-20lb range and stay the same pant size so I'm pretty sure mine is high too. I think between 4 and 6 months his metabolism kicked up and he needed more. He consumes probably 2000+ calories a day. One night he had something like 2600 calories in just one portion of his dinner. He ate 1/4 of a family sized pizza then a veggie sandwich as well.

School was cancelled today due to "extreme cold" which I though was ridiculous because when I was a kid we never got days off for it being cold.
But I just looked at the weather, it is currently 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and with the wind chill feels like -17 degrees Fahrenheit. Awesome. Glad I didn't have to drive in that at 8am lol.

THAT is freakin cold, lol. I couldn't start my bus this morning and ended up running like 15 minutes late, that could have been part of it, too - the whole bus thing. We had a 2 hour delay last Friday because of rain - but it had been raining for literally a week straight and half of our roads were flooded.

I like it, though I prefer the spelling Corinna (pronouced the same, at least by the Mitten folk I know with that name, heh).

Hmm. See, I pronounce that name entirely differently (and has a different meaning). :D I'd say that "koh-rih-nah".

I thought that was pretty groovy (and BF didn't hate it... so I figured I'd get some opinions from you all. haha)

Oh, I would never teach anything younger than highschool. For the moment, I am working for our transportation department and I drive a school bus a lot of times and omg......the middle school age is just so bad. I LOVE my highschool kids and my elementary kids are decently behaved and really cute but I would be perfectly happy to not deal with other peoples kids in a teaching setting until they are at LEAST in highschool.

Holy cuss! My hubby has a high metabolism, I do not. Lol when DS started solids though, he didn't gain a whole lot.

I was just curious is all :)
