To me Marlo looks more masculine.

Marlowe's the only legit spelling, IMO. Haha, but again I think of Christopher Marlowe. Haha!

I don't care for it either way, but Marlo does look more manly.

Gotcha. Haha, I definitely dislike that spelling.

Not my cup of tea, knew a Marlo that drove me nuts from school, and the W just looks odd on it to me. And makes me think of Marlboro lol

I dunno, man. I love it, too...

But I don't love that everyone seems to think it's a girl's name. Or that it should be spelled differently. I dunno!

I like the sounds on their own. I like the way it sounds with the last name. I love the nod to Kit Marlowe. And it seems like a boy name to me (though, more my style of boy name then the hyper masculine names).

Is it like an Aubrey or the -son names that have been beaten with a stick by people using them on girls?

I think Cecily is my top pick for a girl right now. J doesn't like it (unless he's changed his mind). He said I could name the girls whatever I wanted if he can name the boys. Um, NO.
