Her cheek hurts? Yndaid 2 kids; Ohio 50 posts

For the past 2 nights my 3 year old has complained that her cheek hurts. She starts crying uncontrollably asking for medicine. We try to talk to her, but she won't calm down. So we have given her medicine. Last night was the worst. She wanted to lay with us and then she wanted to sleep on the family room floor. She doesn't say anything about it during the day. Just at night. Any ideas on what's going on?

Maybe it's a tooth?

It could be a tooth, or even an ear infection, a child can feel an ear infection in there mouth area and confuse it...... I would call her pedi see what they reccomend

I was wondering about an ear infection. She only complains about it at night though. Is that weird, or normal?

It's normal to just complain at night, especially if it's a sore tooth. She could be so busy playing during the day that she doesn't notice it.
