I have cramps all the time! They say it's normal and it could be a blatter infection.!!

I had a bladder infection last month, and had no cramping with it...but in the past 3 weeks or so I started having really bad cramping and pressure. So I went into the doc and they made sure it wasn't still the infection (which it wasn't)...and then they said its contractions!! They said just to monitor them, and when I feel them, to lay down and "take it easy". Its been3 weeks and I still have them...I feel more pressure if I've been doing a lot of activity and not resting much during the day. I am waiting for my next appointment next week to find out if they're going to do anything else about it. I hope this doesn't continue...I have about 14 weeks left!!

Thats crazy...

I mean I have a feeling of "crampiness"
But I have not actually had cramps since the beginning of my pregnancy...

Honestly..I would call your doc. on that one

I was having really bad cramps during my pregnancy so I went to the hospital & they monitored the baby & everything was normal. The doctor said the problem was I wasn't drinking enough water daily. She said that I'm supposed to be drinking 6-8 big bottles of water each day. Since then I've been drinking more water and the cramping stopped immediately. Maybe you should try drinking more water like I did?

I guess I don't really know how they decided it was contractions...she did say my uterus felt rock hard, then she checked again, and it wasn't...then it got hard again...and it coincided with when I felt the crampy feeling. The pressure is worse when I'm standing up...anyway, I guess that is how she decided it was contractions. I have to monitor them when I feel that way and make sure they're not too close together. Its a pain. But whatever...I just want to make it 10 more weeks, then she can come out whenever she wants!

I was hospitalized for 4 days. They stopped my labor!!!
Had a turbutaline pump stint put in my leg until 34 weeks. I slept, showered, went out with this little pump attatched to me. and I was on strict bedrest the only way i could leave was in a wheelchair. It sucked! Praying this one is better, but honestly I never thought much of the cramps and damn im glad i said something or she would of been born...at 28 weeks. good luck
