lol no, being pregnant doesn't mean you can't clean your house. Just don't go overboard. i've started 'nesting' and have been cleaning like a mad woman for a couple of weeks now.

Don't push yourself or go overboard. It should be fine unless you are one bed rest.

Well God I hope not. If it were then my poor baby will have problems! But for real, no it's not. It's what we do. lol I clean all day every day. I even cleaned every inch of our refrigerator the other day.

unless your putting amonia in a bucket sticking your head in it and then draping a towel over and inhailing deeply while you are cleaning...then your fine. just dont do that ^ lol. sweeping and moppoing is no big deal. the only time a doctor would tell you to becareful is after you give birth and you have stiches in either your vag or you had a c-section they say pushing around a vacume can be painful and to not do it for about 6 weeks...but other than that your fine.

If you're supposed to be on bed rest, then yes, but if you have a complication-free pregnancy, then no. I hate when people think you need to sit on your ass and eat twinkies all day just because you're pregnant.

Hahaha no. I have my 1 year old glued to my hip while doing all those things.

The only way you can really hurt yourself or your baby is by moving heavy items or using cleaning products without ventilation. As long as you don't use heavy products like that, you will be fine.

No , it'll only make you really tired . Make sure to drink a lot of water and eat before you do lots of movements . I read that it's bad to paint later in pregnancy cause it's bad for your back so if you plan on making a nursery you should do it now .

If i didn't my house would be a mess as hubby can't do any of those things without pain and being on workers comp, it isnt worth risking it either
