Do you lose all the weight you've gained during the entire pregnancy? (minus the fat you've gained permanetly obviously)Also, about how long does it take for your stomach to go back to "normal" if you're exclusivley nursing?

With my first I gain 60 pounds and lost 30 after birth. It took me almost a year to lose the other 30 pounds, I breast feed for 7 months. Good luck.

I had C-sections and lost like 5 lbs after I gave birth, felt completely ripped off.
Also, I exclusively nursed this baby and my stomach will never go back. Hello loose skin!

Well right after birth you loose the weight of the baby, amniotic fluid, and placenta. Then over the next few days you pee out whatever water weight you gain. Can be up to 20 lbs sometimes or more. I didnt breast feed and my stomach was pretty much back to normal by 2 weeks. And id lost all my weight because most of my weight was water weight. But i had stretchmarks lol.

Is it true that it's harder to lose the stomach from a c-section than a vaginal birth?

Everyone's different. I've been small my entire life. With my daughter, I gained almost 60 pounds. Only lost 18 after she was born. I only nursed for two weeks because of latching issues, and it took me 11 months to get back to 'normal' but I worked my ass off for it.

yes. with a csection, you get cut open, muscles get damaged and......well the sh*t hurts.

With my daughter, I gained 60 lbs. I lost roughly 30 of that after she was born. The other 30 lbs liked me so much, they have stuck around.
With my son, I lost 22-25 lbs or so, gained all of that + about 5 lbs back - I came home weighing less than I did before I got pregnant and steadily lost about another 20 lbs over the next 6 weeks. EBF with both.

I had my baby on September 4th and I had gained 49 pounds total.. i've lost 34 pounds now and it's only been 11 days. It is possible to lose all that weight, I wasn't expecting to lose so much so fast though.

lol...lol....hahahah....breath....yeah, you may get skinny again but you will never be the same, I am really lucky and only gain 35 lbs...a solid 15 is gone in the first week or two, and all but 5-8 is gone after 6 weeks. seems around8-12 months pp i can really get back to what is normal now. I am still the same sizes but not the same shape.

Dam I'm kinda sad now. Well do you know how soon that I can start doing like sit ups and stuff like that? I'm going to be 2 months on the 18 PP. It still hurts like once in a while when my dis solvable staple presses through but that's about it.

my poor mom had 3 c-sections and even all this time later she still has a huge "pooch" from scar tissue..and she runs like 10 miles a day.
