He was convicted of murdering an officer in '89 ( I think that was the year)

Yeah, but then the witness recanted and said it may not have been/wasn't him. But his appeal or whatever it was didn't go through.

7 out of 9 recanted their statements. How sad. 7 out of 9 and they still killed him.

The whole thing has me feeling disturbed tonight. I know he might very well be guilty. I'm not saying one way or another. But since there's doubt, I can't be okay with it. He professed his innocence till he died and asked they look into the case more. I'm not sure what to think but I do know one thing... the doubt in this case makes this not sit right with me.

All I know is if it turns out this man is innocent, how truly heartbreaking. IF he was guilty then I hope there's mercy for his soul and peace be with him.

Either way, I can't imagine what both family's are going through. I just can't...

They had another guy they thought it was. Syvester Coles. It's so f**king dumb. They murdered him.

All in all this case is so damn sad. Something is just not right with this case and now when they find out who truly did it they're going to feel like idiots for laying this man down to rest smh.

Do you really think that after 25 years they're going to admit they fucked up? Not at all. It's done and over with and they killed him without sufficient evidence. Sad sad world when they convict and murder the wrong man. Also I feel no sympathy for the family of the fallen officer. They wanted someone to pay and I honestly don't feel that they cared who it was. They're just as fucked up and sick as the courts who murdered this man without proper evidence.
