I think it's neat that ever since we've been home from the hospital I wake up with DH very close to me. It is like he instinctively wants to be close to me and the baby. The baby sleeps in a co-sleeper bassinet on my side of the bed. It's kinda scary though because sometimes at night I let the baby fall asleep on DH's side and I don't want to disturb him by moving him back in the bassinet. I also like cuddling him sometimes and not being separated. I hope that instinct to be near his family also keeps him from crushing us. (And yes, since I realized daddy was trying to love us to death I've been making sure to keep LO on my side or in the bassinet.)
